*A/N I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY.

So maybe I lied a little. This is the last chapter of this story, however it also contains a preview of the sequel which I am currently drafting. Sorry for confusing you all with my lies:3 This chapter is really short but it flows with the begining of the sequel so I had to have it in here.*

‘’On three, okay? One, two, three!”

We all began to rapidly tear open our envelopes. My heart was racing as I slid out the crisp sheet of paper that held my future. I took a deep breath and unfolded it. I got happier and happier with every sentence I read. But then I realised what was coming. I looked to my left, Dan was grinning his head off, I’m pretty sure I noticed a tear fall down his cheek too. I looked to my right, Francesca was smiling, shaking her head. Will and Woody were already talking and laughing, and Kyle? Well, Kyle was running around the house screaming.

I chuckled and Dan nudged me. He jumped off the sofa and held out his hand. I gladly took it and we strolled outside into the field. We walked a little further until we were right in the middle, as far away from the house as possible.

We sat down in the grass. I hugged my knees to my chest and Dan crossed his. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, sighing internally. I didn’t want this.

‘’Did you get in?’’ I asked, smiling widely at him.

He looked down at the paper, biting his lip. He then looked back up at me, a huge grin on his perfect face.

‘’Yeah, yeah I did’’. He broke out into a smile and I jumped onto his lap, hugging him tightly.

‘’I’m so happy for you, Dan’’ He hugged back, kissing my cheek. I stayed sat on his lap, his arms latched firmly around me.

‘’Thanks. And you?’’ He looked at me with a sad smile. We both knew what was coming, just neither of us wanted to say it.

I just nodded, a single tear rolled down my cheek. Dan pulled me into him. I buried my head into his neck. His drew in a deep breath and rested his head against mine.

‘’Congratulations’’ he whispered.

I closed my eyes and clung onto him. He lifted my head up and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. The wind whistled through the air. Everything else was silent. I stared longingly at Dan. He stared back. I couldn’t do it. He slipped something into my back pocket. I felt that it was a USB, which I presumed had a song on it. I had gained a collection of these, each and every one had tracks of Bastille’s on.

‘’I don’t want this to be the end, Dan’’.

‘’Just listen to that song, it’s never the end’’.

--

‘’Get up, we’re going to be late!’’

I rolled over and shoved my covers off me. I heard Chelsea’s faint singing coming from the kitchen. She turned the radio up and my heart skipped a beat. My breath caught up in my throat and my grip tightened on the bed sheets. I raised a hand and covered my mouth, tears spilling from my eyes.

I’ll see you in the future when we’re older,

When we are full of stories to be told.

‘’It’s never the end’’.

*a/n THE END

I really hope you enjoyed this story. I know it's not the longest, but I didn't want to keep the same book going with two different settings. I felt like I needed to start a new book for the next chapter of their lives kind of thing. Will you guys read it?

Thanks for all your support throughout the making of this book, you honestly are the best people ever and ily so much:P

I'm gonna stop talking and go and write the sequel now. I'll post another chapter on this story with all the details so keep an eye out;) Just promise me you'll read the sequel? Pretty please:')
