“Give us your ID.” The bouncers at the club eyed us up and down. Behind me, Marie groaned.
“Is there any chance that can be forgotten?..” Hermes took out some notes from his wallet.
The bouncer eyed him in annoyance. “Try the next club, please.”
“I would have taken the money and let us in!” Hermes cursed.
“That’s why you’re not the bouncer.” Fran joked.
“Now what do we do?” Marie groaned.
“Guys….” I looked at them “Let’s throw our own party.” I smirked.
“This was actually a pretty good idea!” Marie bumped her hip into me.
We were at Chowpatty, the beach near our hotel, and had got Fran’s laptop and speakers which she’d carried. The music was blasting, and we were all dancing and singing like Elvis on crack.
Somewhere in the middle of head banging to Avicii and SHM, the playlist shifted to slow songs. And then, Kon asked me to dance with him.
“Sure.” I smiled, ignoring the nervousness.
His smile mirrored mine as he drew me close, wrapped my hands around his neck, and rested his on my waist.
Don’t hyperventilate, Lee. Do NOT hyperventilate. And don’t raise your arms too much. You’ve been dancing non-stop for an hour, your underarms probably stink. And be careful with your feet. You’re too close, you’ll step on-
I fumbled a little as my feet magically got entangled with Kon’s. I smiled sheepishly. “I’m not the best dancer.”
“I have an idea.” He smiled. And before I knew what was happening, he had picked me up a little, and placed my feet on his. Whatever movement his feet made, mine mirrored them. “Better?” He grinned.
And suddenly, I felt just a tad bit less clumsy, and a tad bit more special.
Don’t look into his eyes, Lee. Don’t do it. DON’T! Avoid the eyes!
“Tell me something, Leanna.”, he whispered.
“No, I won’t look into your eyes.”
He burst out laughing.
Wait, WHAT?!
You blabbing moron! You just told him you won’t look into his eyes!
“No wait, I didn’t mean that!”
“Then you will look into my eyes?” He chuckled. The sound vibrated on to me.
“No, I didn’t- Ah forget it. What-“
My sentence was cut short with someone yelling angrily.
“Oi! Yaha pe naachneka nahi! Chalo police thane!”
I looked around me to see a posse of policemen racing down the beach towards us.
Ha. Haha. Hahaha. HAHahaha.
That's my excuse for a cliffhanger :P
All you Kon fangirls, eat your hearts out XD
And because I'm so nice (I DID update two parts in one day, even though they were short. AND I GAVE YOU KON. Give me some credit), I want you guys to tell me what you think may happen, apart from them going to jail ;)
