Piper
I let out a small sigh as I make my way down the crowded street. People were constantly swerving and changing directions in the early morning, which truly never failed to amuse me. Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I checked it for what seemed to be the millionth time. Still no text from Annabeth. I had called her a bunch of times, an urgent matter needed to be discussed. We couldn't have a meeting when the other gang was missing their second-in-command. Thalia liked to think of herself as that, but really it was Annabeth that pulled the weight when Jason couldn't. Speaking of Thalia, she seemed so nervous and on edge lately. I made a mental note to check up on her later.
I checked my phone again to see if I had gotten any texts from Percy. We had a review for English that we agreed to study together. I knew it was early, but it's what we agreed on. Where the hell are those two?
A clap of thunder brought me out of my thoughts. Will this rain ever go away? Speeding up my pace, I made it to Percy's and knocked on the door. I waited patiently before knocking again. "Hello? Percy?" I reached for the doorknob and the door swung right open. Hesitantly stepping inside, I examined the room. It didn't look like anyone had broken in. The place looked fine, even if it was my first time being in here.
I closed the door behind me and made my way around the house. My voice soft, I whispered, "Percy..? Are you here?" I checked all of the rooms before I came down to the last one down the hall. I peered inside the room before letting out an audible gasp.
"What the hell?" I blurted out. Percy suddenly sat up and stretched. His groggy eyes looked around the room before spotting me at the doorway. "P-Piper?" He squeaked out. The girl next to him seemed to be waking up. She stirred before sitting up. "What's all the noise about?" She asked, her voice raspy. Shock washed over me, drowning me as if it were a wave.
"Annabeth?!"
The blonde opened her eyes and let out a shriek before she covered herself with Percy's sheets. "Piper?!" Unfortunately, she grabbed too much of the sheets and ended up taking Percy's half, leaving him uncovered. He quickly grabbed a pillow and put it over himself. He flashed me an awkward smile. My brain was still registering the situation to be embarrassed that I had just seen my two best friends naked. Together. In bed.
The only words I could form were, "D-didn't you get my text?"
He glanced to the side and picked up his phone. "Well, I did now.." He grumbled. He shook his head. "Is my mom home yet?" "No, I checked all the rooms." I watched him sigh in relief.
Silence filled up the room for the next 30 seconds.
"Pipes," she said softly. "Say something."
I could hear myself saying, "I can't believe you lost your virginity and you didn't fill me in right after!"
She laughed. "I'm not like you who makes a whole group chat just to tell everyone the big news."
Percy made a face. "You did that?"
I shrugged. "I was happy, could you blame me?"
Annabeth moved around a bit before letting out a small groan.
"Hurts?" I asked.
"Yeah.."
I gave her a lopsided smile. "I'll go get you some coffee. By the time I'm back I want both of you dressed with your hands to yourselves and your tongues in your mouths." I turned to leave before turning around with a small smirk. I wiggled my finger at them. "I demand details too."
