We drove up to the dock just as Clay was climbing out of the water. Jensen had found a way to activate the Hummer's sunroof and was now hanging out of it, exclaiming with delight.

"Hey! Look what Pooch found!"

"Look what I found," Clay said, holding up a device in his hand. The trigger to activate the giant vibrating egg dildo from hell.

I know that's not what Jensen said, but it's what I'm calling it from now on.

Pooch grabbed some duct tape and threw it at Clay. "This should do it."

Quickly, Clay took the tape and wrapped it around the device, permanently keeping a hold down on the button so that it wouldn't explode. He held up the device and sighed.

"Disarmed."

He threw it into the ocean. Good, that's where it belonged. If only Max was there with it.

"Hey, speaking of things I found," Pooch said as Jensen came to stand next to me. "did you know these two are a thing now?"

I smiled at Clay as Jensen took my hand in his and kissed it. Clay smiled back, a real genuine smile. Haven't seen one of those in a long time, although I think it's long overdue.

"Congrats," he said.

"Thanks, Clay," I replied.

Jensen's phone rang. He let go of my hand quickly to answer it.

"Hello?" His eyes widened as he listened to the person on the other end. He extended the phone to Clay. "It's Max."

Clay took the phone and put it to his ear. "Hello Max." He paused, listening to Max speak. "Yeah, well, I wouldn't go that far." He smirked. "Well, now I know what you look like. Be seeing you soon, Max."

He ended the call and passed it back to Jensen.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"Nothing of importance."

"Yo," Pooch said. "let's go home."

We climbed back into the Hummer in the same places as before, now trying to leave room for Clay as well. I ended up basically sitting on Jensen's lap again, not that either one of us was complaining anymore.

Aisha and Clay climbed in next and closed the door. Aisha looked at me. I figured she was still upset about what I told her, however her facial expression wasn't angry. It was actually quite...calm.

"Since w'ere the only two girls on this team - " she started.

"And we're both fucking two other members?" I offered. Aisha chuckled.

"Yes, that too," she said. "I don't want to fight you."

"I don't wanna fight you either," I said. I offered her my hand to shake and asked, "Friends?"

She smiled and took my hand. "Let's try for best friends."

I smiled. "Alright, but none of that sleepover, getting our nails done, up all night talking about boys bullshit."

Aisha scrunched up her nose. "God, gross."

The guys started laughing.

"I can sense a friendship already," Clay noted.

I smiled at Aisha before turning to Jensen. He put an arm around my shoulder and pulled me to him. I rested my head on his shoulder and enjoyed the ride home.

Home.

It seemed like such a foreign word now, but it was finally happening. We were leaving this life and going home. Sure, Max was still out there, but like Clay said, we knew what he looked like now. We could find him no problem.

But for now, we had to go home. Pooch had to see his baby being born, Jensen had to see the Petunias kick some ass in soccer. And I had to be with Jensen.

It was the perfect, feel good ending to this story. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
