...It was finally the wedding morning; the Farm House and Guest House were buzzing with excitement, last minute preparations and everyone getting ready for this special day. Kajal was getting dressed in her room with the help of Sonia, Kavya and Disha while Padma, Smita and Naina helped Ayesha; both brides had their makeup done by professional beauticians.

Once the brides were ready they were left alone in the room with their parents while the girls went off to make sure all the preparations were being done to perfection. There was a small knock on Kajal's room door and Sonia went to open the door to find Puneet standing there looking very nervous.

"How is she?" he whispered to Sonia.

Sonia rolled her eyes at him and pulled him into the room gently; he looked over at Kajal who was sat on the stool in front of the mirror; she noticed him looking at her with his mouth slightly open.

"Papa?" she turned to look at him; "...What's wrong?"

"Kajal..." he walked over and kneeled in front of her; "...you are looking gorgeous!"

"Thank you..." she smiled.

He held her hand gently while still on his knees; "Kajal...I've known you from the time you were one year old when you and Sonia moved into our neighbourhood...I've seen you grow up and along with Naina I've always seen you as my own daughter...I'm so happy to see you with this smile on your face...on your special day...and just remember we are always here for you...you can count on us at any time...day or night..."

She nodded slightly; "I know...and I'm so thankful to you for coming into our lives...especially for mama..." Sonia put her hand onto Kajal's shoulder and gave it a small squeeze.

He smiled at Sonia and then looked back down at Kajal; "You know...you're looking so stunning right now...if you were a little older and I had seen you before your mother I would've chosen you..." he winked.

Kajal giggled while Sonia frowned at him but he smirked at her then looked back at Kajal a little serious; "Sameer is a nice guy...and I know that he loves you a lot...I met him in Shimla when he came searching for you three and a half years back...when I told him that you were gone...the look on his face was shocking...he thought he'd lost you forever...and when I told him where you were he was so happy...he only thought of you...and he wanted to be with you...I know that he will always keep you happy..."

"And you need to do the same for him..." Sonia said making them both look up; "...keep him as happy as he keeps you...that's the way of a happy married life..."

"Just like the both of you..." Kajal nodded her head and smiled putting Sonia's hand into Puneet's and holding them together...

...In the next room sat Ayesha in Smita's wedding sari looking beautiful; both Smita and Padma were with her trying to calm her down as her nervousness began to kick in; the small knock on the door made them all turn to see Shashank and Rajeev walk into the room with bright smiles on their faces.

"Papa...dad...is everything okay?" she asked immediately.

"Everything is perfect...the guests are about to come so we thought we would come and see our darling daughter before we get busy..." Shashank told her.
