Chapter 24

Hey everyone...I was a little disheartened with the lack of comments on the last chapter...where have all my commentators gone :( ...please please post your thoughts on the chapter...it really keeps me going and I enjoy writing for you all...not many chapters to go now...hope you all enjoy this chapter...

...Kajal and Ayesha were brought down the stairs by Naina, Kavya and Disha, they walked through the house with guests watching them intently as they made their way to the garden; they stopped at the top of the stairs and waited to be helped down with their heavy outfits by the girls. They both met Dadi who was very happy to see her granddaughters getting married; Padma, Sonia and Smita beamed at their daughters with happiness before walking them down the aisle towards the mandap where most of the guests stood waiting for them...

...Sameer and Guru were taken to their respective mandaps as they waited for their brides to join them. Sameer couldn't take his eyes off of Kajal as she made her way towards him; he was blown away by her beauty; his mouth was slightly hanging open and his eyes were wide but Sid nudged him slightly and he quickly closed his mouth with a blush as she made it onto the mandap and stood beside him...

...Guru was also staring at the love of his life who was walking towards him; she looked amazing; nothing less than an angel in her beautiful red sari; her makeup was done immaculately and her jewellery sparkled in the sun. Ayesha made it onto the stage and stood next to him with her eyes down and he held her hand giving it a small squeeze before they settled down ready for their big moment.

They sat down while all the guests watched them closely praising both the couples; Sid watched from the side happy for his cousin and Kajal but he noticed that Dimple looked slightly sad; he moved around to stand next to her and Ishika who had the same expression.

"What's wrong girls...?" Sid asked; "...If you're still upset with what happened yesterday then we're really sorry...right Dev?" he looked at him.

"That's what I've been telling them...but they won't say anything?" Dev shrugged.

"It's not about yesterday...you did what you wanted to and we got you back...we're even..." Ishika sighed.

"Then what's the problem?" Dev asked.

The girls looked over at Ayesha and Guru and sighed; "I can't believe that they're finally getting married...I don't know if to be happy or sad..." Dimple said.

The guys grinned at each other and held onto their girl's hand; "Hey...I'm here for you...and I'm sure going to learn some tips from Dr. Guru for you...to keep you happy always..." Sid told Dimple who smiled widely.

"Me too...I'll try to be just like him..." Dev told Ishika who also smiled.

"Okay...you guys can try..." Dimple said.

"But you'll never be as handsome as him..." Ishika teased and Dimple agreed which made the boys mouth drop in shock...

...Lauren stood close to Sarah who was watching the marriage take place with a happy smile on her face.

"I'm so happy for Ayesha...she's so lucky to have both set of parents with her today..." Sarah told Lauren.

"Yes I heard about that and she's also lucky to have Dr. Guru as her husband..." Lauren replied with a sad smile.

Sarah turned to look at her curiously; "What's with the long face?"
