"Hey, doesn't this feel a little bit weird?" Elizabeta whispered.
"Yeah, I noticed." I said and stopped to look at the vast veiw with nothing clear in sight. "It's as if we were trapped-"
"In an illusion." Said someone, their voice echoing through the skies.
"So you're not dead after all." I said with a grin. "Nice."
"Hmm, this is bad." With a sigh, Elizabeta put one of her arms on her hips and tossed Ivan over her shoulder. "I guess we don't have a choice." She said and raised her eyebrow. "Things are gonna get quite hot in here. After all, I have to repay for that poisoned arrow."
Gently, Elizabeta put Ivan on the ground and pushed her palm against his chest. If memory serves me right, she was putting a barrier around him. Guess she's getting serious now, it was about time.
Suddenly out of the blue, three figures appeared before us, the same ones I thought I killed a while back. "How did you survive?" I asked, tilting my head to the side, "I remember killing all of you?"
"Or so you thought." The woman said. "You left yourself wide open, Saher." She went closer to me, not afraid that I might do something to her. Apparently another illusion. "The moment your heart was pierced, my brethren were able to cast this alter reality, making you unable to escape it anymore." I had the feeling she would spit poison by now. Her tone was sinister, yet calm and relaxing.
"You're wrong there." I said and shook my head. "It was way before that."
"What?" One of the men said, clearly confused.
"You see... I do not posses a heart. There's no way you can pierce it." I raised my hands in front of me, then widened them enough as if I'm welcoming them to a hug. "Come and see for yourself if you want." I said with a grin.
"Lies." The woman said, laughing. "Are you mocking us, boy? Heartless, please." He took a few steps closer and now we're a few cantemeters away. "Test it? Sure, with pleasure." She said as she disappred right from my sight.
The scenery changed drastically around us, sand turned into stone, and the skies are now the wooden ceiling of a small room. Ivan was gone and Elizabeta stood infront of me, chained to a wall. She looked at me confused, but not frightened. Apparently I was chained too, but to something else, probably the ceiling. I guess the door is right behind me, judging by the faint light coming from behind me.
Gentle footsteps came towards me and a sharp object, I knife by what I could tell, was pushed against my back.
"Let's see who's heartless." The familiar female voice said, the knife digging deeper with every word. I could feel it's way towards my chest, but I couldn't feel any pain. I guess that Death was taking care of it, wherever he is.
The woman's hand made it's way towards my chest, holding me in this semi kind of hug, making it easier for her to impale me. I felt her chin on my shoulder, her hot breath on my ear. "Ah~ I can just feel your blood on my hand. It feels so good." She said with a delighted voice. "I can't wait to see how red the floor is gonna be right after this."
"Well, I'm sorry to be the carrier for bad news, bit you should look again." I said with a sigh. "Red blood is the last thing you're gonna see from me." I smiled gently at Elizabeta, who in returned shut her eyes. She knows what's about to happened.
I closed my eyes too, concentrating, trying to find the exact location of her heart, unfortunately I couldn't find a precise location, so I went with a wide range attack.
The scales that formed around parts of my body formed into giant spikes, impaling the woman instantly. This time it wasn't an illusion. She was dead for real.
I pulled on the chains, which came out pretty easily, and then went to Elizabeta. "Its okay now." I whispers and pulled the chains from her wrists too.
"That was pretty brutal. Even for you." She said and removed some of the blood that had been splattered over her fave.
"Sorry, I still can't control it completely."
"I guess you're hopeless without him, eh?" She said and bumped my shoulder.
"I think the hell not." I said kinda harsh, which made her laugh.
