Nobody saw it coming...except for Knight who had rushed to confirm it himself.

Mavis' left hand was almost fully covered with crimson red blood that's dripping from her palm down to her fingertips leaving drops of red stains on the marble floor. Turns out, Mavis injured herself when she bumped into the wine glass earlier after Zach pushed her away. She kept it hidden by clasping her skirt, putting a little bit of pressure on the wound. What Genevieve complimented as a realistic blood designs on her dress were, in actuality, a real deal.

"It's just a small cut...nothing serious. I only need to clean and patch it up...",she said pulling her hand out and holding it with her other hand in an attempt to conceal the fact that it might have been a deeper wound judging from her already nauseated feeling probably because of blood lose.

"Nothing serious? A shallow wound wouldn't be able to paint the piano keyboards red...and apparently your dress...you knew of the wound yet you still went there to play a song...seriously what were you thinking?", said Knight furiously as he took a black colored hanky out of his pocket. Then, without hesitation, he moved closer to her, grasped her wounded hand and wrapped the cloth around it.

Everyone around them was in shock not just by Mavis' blood soaked hand but also by Knight's unexpected concern. Jeremy and Raleigh both looked as if they're struggling with something as they watched by the sideline, unable to even move a muscle.

Mavis, despite her somewhat blurry perception as to why she's currently surrounded by these people during times like this, knew she's not exactly in the right position to defend herself and resist any further. She was obviously careless resulting to further inconvenience to others which is something she was trying to avoid.

"We need to get you to the hospital...I'll have the car ready...",said Jasmine's mom, almost in a panic as she held Mavis by the shoulder supporting her balance.

"Aunt, it's okay...You have to be here to cover the event. I can just come by Dr. Harvey's clinic...it's no big deal.", said Mavis smiling pretending to look fine although she could already feel her hand getting numb. Blood had been gushing out from it for half an hour already.

"I'll take her!"

Zach appeared again looking terrified yet determined as he walked closer to Mavis putting his arm around her waist to help her stand. "Please allow me to take Mavis to the hospital...it's my fau...", he added but was interrupted by another unexpected suggestion.

"We'll take her to my place, the family physician stays with us. And it's the closest.", said Jeremy surprisingly without a hint of sarcasm or insincerity. It appeared that even he knew when to put a pause on his pranks. "I'll take the car...you guys meet me outside.", and he left without even waiting for any confirmation.

"I think that's the best option we have. I see that you guys seem to know each other well. Mr. Thomas...Mr. Krause...I'll leave Mavis in your hands.", said Jasmine's mom. "Mr. Knight, I appreciate your concern but you have to go back on stage...or else it would just cause further problems. I'll try to explain to Chairman Poisé and settle the media. There had been too much action for one night.", she added.

Mavis remained silent the entire time. She couldn't really stand being a burden to anyone. But she knew more than anyone else, that this time, she could really use some help. Zach, still with his arms around her waist, led her towards the door while Raleigh stayed closely behind.

They reached the door and saw Jeremy's black Benz waiting outside. They got in and saw him on the driving seat himself. Zach and Mavis went for the back seat while Raleigh sat beside Jeremy on the front. As soon as they're settled, the car immediately left.
