You were walking along the beautifully lit streets of Seoul.
You had just recently moved there because your parents had died and you wanted a change of scenery.
Being only 18 you were struggling by trying to pay rent and finish school and to top that off your black and living in Seoul South Korea so you got plenty of stares walking down the street.
You were just leaving the university you went to school at and you were hungry out of your mind.
You stopped at the grocery store to get the things you needed to prepare some Korean BBQ chicken.
You walked into the seemingly empty grocery store looking for only one item in particular.Kimchi.
You walked down the isle only to see one jar of kimchi left.
You did a little happy dance in the middle of the isle thanking god you got the last one.
You got on your tippy toes to get the jar at the very top of the shelf. you mentally cursed yourself for being so short.
Just as you got the jar in your reach a tan hand snatched the jar before you could reach it.
You turned to the person who took the jar and went off.
"You motha' fuckin hoe I know damn well you aint take that jar of kimchi when you saw me reaching for it" you yelled as you pointed your brown finger in the strangers face.
A deep laguh erupted through the air. You finally looked up at the person who took the jar and he was absolutely stunning. He had clearly dyed blond hair and deep dimples & was tall.
The unknown male species looked down at you and smirked "oh you wanted this"? The stranger said as he motion toward the jar of kimchi.
"Yes hoe. Do you see any other jars of kimchi around"? You stated sassily
The stranger laughed again "if you want it...get it". He shrugged as he raised the jar in the air.
You looked up and glared at the stranger "hell no" you spat as he waves the jar in the air.
"You sure about that shorty" he mocked as he got close to your face. You could feel your cheeks heat up.
Silently thanking the lord for your dark completxion you looked up at the stranger and gave a pout.
'Maybe I can fake cry my way out of it' you thought.
"b-but I'm really h-hungry.p-p-leasssss
you fake sobbed letting a few fake tears slip.the stranger's smirk dropped immediately.
"I-im sorry I d-didn't mean to upset
y-you" he stuttered as he handed you the jar.
You immediately stopped "crying" and laughed "ha you little bitch you thought" you said as you stuck your tongue out.
He laughed and shook his head "I'm Kim namjoon by the way" he said rubbing the back of his neck.
You smiled and said "my names Y/N L/N. It's nice to meet you namjoon
"You know the only reason why I took the jar was to get your attention I thought you were really pretty"
Namjoon said as he blushed a deep red. "Oh really now" you smirked as you cocked an eyebrow.
He nodded his head. "Well how about we go get coffee tomorrow night after I get home from school"? You suggested.
He vigorously nodded his head and exchanged numbers with you. Later that night you got a text from a contact you didn't recognize.
