Taehyung smiled at the paintings in front of him.
'Café Terrace at Night -1888'
The painting read. Vincent van gogh was one of taehyungs favorite artists. He loved going to the art museum to view the beautiful paintings of the artistical genius throughout the years.
The soft jazz that played throughout the art museum set a mood that couldn't even be described. Taehyung was at peace.
He stuffed his somewhat cold hands into the pockets of his brown dress pants as he slowly walked examining the paintings.
"Beautiful huh?" A voice said making taehyung jump out of his trace as he looked to his side.
There stood a girl. She was shorter than him and had curly hair that was halfway covered by a brown beret hat, identical to taehyungs. She had black rimmed circle glasses that sat on top
Of her face.
A brown wool coat covered her her body as she stood somewhat timidly in brown dress pants.
If people didn't know any better they would think the two strangers were a couple that decided to match.
"Very..."taehyung replies simply as he stared at the girl beside him. Honestly she was stunning. He'd seen many girls and has been with plenty to have seen his fair share, but she was different.maybe it was her style or the way she carried herself but she screamed uniqueness.
The girl looked up at him and smiled making taehyungs mouth slightly drop.
'Oh god...she's perfect..'he thought to himself.
"I love van gogh ....his realism and emotion he puts into his art...it's amazing..."the mystery girl said.
Taehyung was surprised.not many girls he knew or dated had ever talked about art, let alone the key elements to a great piece.
That's why taehyungs relationships never worked out. His past girlfriends just weren't in touch with their artistic side.
"I agree...his work is simplistic yet speaks volume of the moment.."taehyung said.
Y/n was caught off guard. His deep yet gentle voice captivated her. She smiled as she stuck out her hand.
"I'm y/n" she said smiling as the man looked at her than her hand before smiling.
"Taehyung" he said. Their handshake seemed to linger a little while longer before y/n began to get nervous pulling her hand away from taehyungs soft warm hand making him blush madly.
"I like your outfit"taehyung smirked a bit looking down at y/n.
She smiled looking down at her outfit before looking back at him.
"I could say the same for you" she snickered.
"That's kinda freaky ya know? Two complete strangers meeting at an art gallery wearing almost identical outfits" taehyung chuckled making y/n giggle.
"Maybe we were just destined to meet"y/n smiled biting her lip as taehyung blushed.
"Maybe we were.."he smiled.
The two stood in a comfortable silence examining other art pieces until taehyung spoke up.
"What are you doing after this?" He asked y/n raising an eyebrow looking down at her.
A soft smile graced her features as she looked up at him.
"I was gonna get some coffee and a muffin...weird I know...who gets coffee at 7:00 at night" she chuckled as taehyung smiled.
"Me" he said simply making y/n burst into a fit of laughter. Her laugh brought a pounding to taehyungs heart that couldn't seem to stop.
"Why don't we get some coffee after this then?"taehyung asked as y/n raised an eyebrow.
"Are you asking me out" she smirked as taehyung began to blush madly.
"W-w-well i thought that m-m-m-"he began to stammer as y/n giggled.
"Of course I'll go get coffee with you" she smiled as taehyung sighed in relief.
"Let's go then" he smiled as they both walked out of the art museum.
"I took a cab here.."y/n said as taehyung smiled.
"I did too...we can catch one together"he smiled as y/n bit her lip nodding. Taehyung hailed a cab as the two climbed in.
"The cafe on 3rd please" taehyung said as the driver took off.
They both sat in a comfortable silence until they got there which was about 5 minutes away.
The cab came to screeching halt as y/n began to reach into her purse to pull out her wallet. Taehyung looked at her before softly grabbing her wrist with one hand handing the cab driver his card with the other hand.
"You will never have to pay when your with me" he said smiling as y/n shyly nodded as both of them got out the car.
They both walked up to the small cafe as taehyung opened the door for y/n as they both walked in.
They found a table in the corner of the cafe by a window as taehyung smiled.
"A coffee and a muffin right?"He asked raising an eyebrow as y/m smiled.
"Chocolate please"she giggled as taehyungs heart skipped a beat as he nodded.
He went up to the register ordering the exact same thing as her as he waisted patiently for the food.
Within minutes their order was ready as taehyung brought it back to their table.
"Thank you..."y/n said smiling a bit as she tapped her nails on the mug creating a soft clinging sound.
Taehyung smiled as he bit his lip.
"No problem....so tell me about yourself..?" He asked as y/n smiled.
"Well....I'm 21....I moved here to new York actually a couple of weeks ago...I go to NYC" she said smiling as taehyung went wide eyed.
"Really? I do too"he said smiling as y/n looked at him.
"What's your major?"she asked taking a sip of her coffee as taehyung smiled.
"Visual art" he said smiling as y/n nodded.
"What about you?"He asked putting his hand under his chin admiring the girl as she smiled.
"Creative writing/ liberal art" she said smiling as taehyung bit his lip looking at her.
"You know.....you're really gorgeous..."he blurted out making y/n go wide eyed as taehyung slapped his hand over his mouth as he turned beet red.
"IM SO SORRY" He shouted quietly as y/n stared at him before bursting into a fit of giggles.
"Your cute taehyung.."she said smiling as taehyung turned an even deeper shade of red as he tried to hide his face as y/n leaned over and pinched his cheek as they both laugh.
