The rhythmic tapping sound of rain could be heard throughout the spacious condo. Y/n sat still, perched upon the mahogany kitchen table as she sat quietly. The steam from her tea cup hitting her nostrils making for a sweet smelling harmony of aromas, that filled the space of the kitchen.
Y/n pondered in her tense state. Only reason for the tea was to get her body to relax, it only partially working due to the fact she still felt the same as earlier. Empty and dull.
Y/n rolled her neck letting out a puff of air as she let her eyes train on min holly, who was quietly and happily playing with a chew toy Yoongi had just recently purchased. Y/n always told Yoongi holly was spoiled but Yoongi avidly denied the claim always saying;
'You're just mad hollys curls are better than yours'
To which y/n would always reply;
'Sleep on the couch'
Y/n looked at the small dog who was happily trotting around the living room,not a care in the world.
"Wonder if dogs get insecure" y/n mumbled to herself letting another sigh fall from her lips. Y/n let her eyes avert to the stove, that had the time displayed in big, bold bright green letters.
'12:45'
The time read as y/n leaned back on her arm. Yoongi had probably already went to sleep at this point. Claiming he wanted to be rested so he can actually be productive the next day. Which y/n and him both knew was partly a lie. He'd probably sleep half the day then wake up at 3 and have way too much energy for y/n to handle.
Y/n chuckled at the thought as she gazed at the engagement ring on her finger. She softly ran her thumb over the piece of jewelry as she smiled softly. At first she was ecstatic to be able to call herself mrs.min. Yoongi and y/n had been together for nearly 5 years before he popped the big question.
Yoongi thought she was a bridezilla at first, with the constant venue tours and cake tasting, he thought by the time the wedding came, he'd be so tired of the same butter cream frost over and over again.
But the actions slowly died down. Yoongi noticed a few months after proposing, y/n started to get less and less involved with the wedding. He thought her heart wasn't into it which led to a very serious and tear filled talk.
"Baby you still want to marry me right?" Yoongi asked softly as tears rolled down his face. He really didn't want y/n to see him cry, but the mere thought of losing her drove him crazy.
Y/n looked up at him with scrunched eyebrows,only to softly gasp dropping the wedding catalog she had in her hand,as she hurried to her fiancés side, who was leaning against the door frame.
