Sean mendez: 2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Sean mendez: Heat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Grease bottoms only of 12 muffin cups or line with baking cups.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips, and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine milk, oil and egg; blend well. Add dry ingredients all at once; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened (batter will be lumpy.)
Fill cups 2/3 full. Sprinkle tops of muffins before baking with a combination of 3 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoon brown sugar.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 1 minute before removing from pan. Serve warm. (or hot bc i'm hungry)

"Shawn! No! Don't eat the batter yet!"I cried, slapping his hand
"But it's too good!"He whinned and i glare at him. He rolled his eyes and lean against the counter, grabbing a few chocolate chips in his hand. Throwing them inside his mouth and i sigh, putting the batter inside the muffin tin
"Careful it's hot,"I said when he grabbed the tin and putting it inside the oven
"No shit sherlock"He said and i chuckle. I set the timer to 25 minutes and started to clean up the counter top
"You go rest, i'll clean this up"He said and i nod
"Thank you"I grinned and he smiled
"How is Aaliyah's graduation?"I asked
"It's good. She looks stunning, like her brother"He said and i rolled my eyes
"You wish"I said and he laugh, putting the dishes inside the dishwasher
"Tell her i'm sorry i can't attend her graduation yesterday and congratulations"I said
"Will do,"He said sitting beside me
"I'm sleepy"He said, hugging me and resting his head on my neck
"Go sleep, i'll wake you up when the muffins are done"I said and he snuggle his head deeper into my neck
"Shawn,"I whinned
"Louise,"He mocked and i slap his hand, making him laugh
"You're the best"He said
"Psh, i know"I said and he groaned

"It's done! It's done!"He said once he hear the timer. He shot up to his feet before walking towards the kitchen. I laugh at his excitement and follow him
"The oven mitten! The oven mitten!"I said once i saw him almost grabbing the pan bare hand
"Shit, thanks for saving my life"He said and i grinned
"We should poke it with a toothpick first"I said
"Don't care"He said putting it on a cooling rack
"Now we're gonna wait until it's warm"I said
"Why?"He whinned
"Because it's hot"I said
"Well, i'm gonna becareful. Promise"He said before taking one of them and peeling the cup, blowing them with his mouth before taking a bite. He sigh and continue eating it
"This is so fucking good"He said taking another bite and i chuckle, taking one for myself
"I'm the one who makes it. Of course it's good"I grinned and he rolled his eyes
"Stop, don't talk to me"He said putting his hand infront of me
"Loser lame-o wanna be like oh, totally"He sing and i gasp
"Shawn!"I said and he laugh, hugging me from behind
"Fine! Be that, loser"I said and he chuckle before placing a kiss on my cheek
