Chapter 5- Collide

~Eleanor's POV~

It was a week after the brits and I still felt like I shouldn't of trusted the boys. They let me think Louis actually wanted me there. Of course he didn't want me, I ruined his life! I got out of my bed and grabbed my phone. There were 2 new text messages,

From- Samantha

Hey El! Can you make it to work today, we have a lot of work today :) 

Then there was another text from Samantha,

From- Samantha

P.S. The boys won't be there today, so no Louis.

I looked at the time and realized it was 6:30 am. I never get up this early but all I could think about was Louis.

I texted Samantha saying I could make it to work and then I got up and took a shower. I put on a simple hunter green v-neck with a pair of leggings. I added a pair of tory burch flats and a rose gold watch. It was around 8 and I decided to go to work and get things done,

~Jacob's POV~

 I woke up to my alarm playing bruno mars. I looked at the clock and it said 7:30. I got up and got ready. I was starting a new job working with One Direction. I was helping out with sound since their sound guys needed help. I was really excited to start working again. I hadn't had a job, that wasn't being a waiter, for 1 year. Ever since my mom died I quit my job as a musician because all I was writing were sad crappy lyrics. 

I saw that I had a text from my boss, Samantha,

From- Samantha

Hey be at work around 8:30, I have someone to show you around also. 

I looked at my phone that said it was 8:00 so I grabbed my coffee and keys and left for my job.

When I got there Samantha told me to wait in her office while she got the person who was going to show me around. After 2 minutes, and I was counting, Samantha brought in the most gorgeous girl I had seen. "Jacob this is Eleanor she's going to show you around." Samantha said with a smile. Eleanor had beautiful brown curly hair and her eyes were the prettiest eyes I had ever seen. "Hi Jacob." Eleanor said reaching her hand out for me to shake. I shook her hand and then stood up. "I guess I'll show you around then. 

Eleanor had shown me around and now we were in her office."So working for One Direction and being close to them is awesome." I said trying to make conversation with her. She looked unsure and I got worried. "Is working for them that bad?" I asked her. She jumped and then said, "No it's just, I have been close with One Direction before and it kind of messed with my life." I looked at her confussed and wanting to know what she was talking about. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You really don't know? Did you ever look on the internet, like ever?" she asked me. "Ummm well not really can you just tell me." I said confussed. "I used to date Louis, for like 3 years." she said and I was really surprised. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize that." I said. We then talked about everything, about her and Louis's break up, my mom, everything. As I talked to her I felt like I knew her for years. 

~Eleanor's POV~

Jacob and I had been talking for 2 hours about so much and I loved having these kind of conversations. "Hey guys." Samantha said coming into my office,"Jacob, they want you in the recording studio to meet you." then she left. "Well I should go to the studio then." Jacob said and left. About 30 seconds later he walked back it and said,"Um this is akward but I forget where it is, will you help me out?" he said making me laugh out a sure.

We walked to the recording studio together and talked even more. "Well here it is." I said showing him the door. He opened it and we both walked in. "Don't you have work?" he asked me. "It can be done tomorrow, I want to stay and walk you back. Don't want you to get lost." I said trying to play it cool. 

After Jacob and the sound people talked we were about to leave when in walked my worst nightmare and favorite dream guy, Louis. "Hi." I said quickly wondering why Samantha said he wasn't going to be here. "Hey El and?" Louis said. "Jacob." Jacob said reaching his hand out to shake. Louis and Jacob talked about music and football for a solid 10 minutes while I stood there. "Well it was nice of El to show you around." Louis said and when he said it, I felt like he sounded like a couple jack ass. I then didn't think and said,"Well it was nice for you to just tell a bunch of people that you wished I wasn't with you guys." Louis and Jacob both looked at me shocked. "El maybe we can talk about that." Louis started to say and then I cut him off by saying," Bitch please! I don't want to talk to someone who hates me and who says that I ruin their life!" I then just stood there. I wanted to move and run but I couldn't. 

~Louis's POV~

I just stood there, hurt by what El had just said. She stood there to looking like she was about to cry. Jacob then said,"I'm going to go." and walked out of the door. 

We both just stood there and then El finally said,"Louis this is hard not talking and seeing each other-" I then cut her off by doing something crazy.

I kissed her, our lips crashed together, and in that moment I knew exactly what I had lost.
