Chapter 17- Oops! Happy Birthday

~Louis's POV~

It was 8pm and I still can't believe Naomi talked me into this. She wanted to throw El a surprise party. She said "even though you guys have a past I don't want that to stand in the way of the future." and all sorts of crap like that. I finally gave in and I like that Naomi doesn't hate El for some stupid reason.

"Louis! Everyone's going to be here very soon. Is everything good?" Naomi yelled running back and forth trying to make this the greatest party ever. 

"Love listen you need to sit down and rest. You've been working on this party for the whole day without sitting down." I told her as we both sat down on the couch.

"You're right, but do you think this party will be good enough I really want El to like me." Naomi asked me.

"Why do you want her to like you so much?" I politely asked her.

"I don't know I just feel like we could be great friends and I hate having people dislike me for stuff that happened in the past." she said as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"She will love the party, trust me." I told her. 

~Eleanor's POV~

Naomi texted me and said that the party was for 9pm and wear a nice dress. I honestly think we could be great friends. Thinking about friends Danielle and I are going to the party together, I had no clue until 10 minutes ago though. 

I walked down the stairs into the living room wearing a short fitted dark red dress with a pair of black heels. I had my hair up in a neat ponytail and had very little makeup on. 

"Damnnnn you look hot!" Danielle said as she looked up from her phone.

"Thank you I try." I told her.

We got up to Louis's door and opened it. We both walked in and nobody was there. It was pitch black. I looked at Danielle confused but then I turned around quickly when the lights came on and everyone shouted, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY EL!"

Naomi came up to me and gave me a big hug. "Happy birthday!" 

"Did you do all this?" I asked her surprised.

"Yep! I really hope you love it." Naomi told me and then was off.

The first thing I did was grab a drink. Even though I was with all these people I still felt alone.

It was around midnight and officially my birthday. At midnight Naomi brought out a huge cake and everyone sang to me. I blew the candles out and went back to having another drink. Then someone sat next to me.

"Great party." Louis said.

I was surprised that Louis wasn't drunk. "Yep it was really lovely of Naomi to do this." I told him.

"She really is spectacular." Louis said.

"I wouldn't go that far for me. This is still kind of awkward." I said after downing another shot. "Where's the toilet? I asked.

"Same place it's always been." Louis told me. "Would you like me to escort you?" he asked.

"Please, I don't think I'll make it there on my own." I said and we were off to the toilet.

I opened the door and looked for Louis but didn't see him. He said he would wait. Well I don't care it's okay.

I didn't know where I was going so I walked into a room right by the toilet. I then remembered where I was. I turned to walk out but a figure came in and closed the door.

"Louis?" I asked.

"Oh, El I'm sorry I didn't know you were in here." Louis said.

He had a sad look on his face. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, it's just I haven't got to be with Naomi all night she's always on her own schedule. I don't know why I'm telling this to my ex-girlfriend?" Louis said sitting down on the floor next to me. We sat there for a couple minutes then I said,"Well I think I'll just go back out." I started to get up but then fell over. Louis's arms caught me. I was now sitting on his lap and inside kind of panicking. 

We kind of just looked at each other for a couple seconds and then I couldn't help myself. I went in for the kiss. He kissed me back passionately. We started really kissing and I could feel his hand going for the zipper on the back off my dress. I then pulled away from the kiss and got up.

"Louis! We can't do that!" I yelled and then stormed out.
