Chapter 24- Philly

~Louis's POV~

It has been 2 months since El and I visited my family in Doncaster. The boys and I are on the Where We Are Tour right now and we all are having having a pretty amazing time. Eleanor is traveling on tour with us which is prefect because I can see her everyday. 

"Good morning beautiful." I said to the beautiful girl sleeping on my chest.

"No, I want to sleep." she told me and she buried her face.

"Well I have to go get ready." I said, kissed her head, and then went to get ready.

Today Niall, Liam, and I are going to go get a new engagement ring for Eleanor. I wanted to get a different one because I showed her the other one and I want this to be a surprise. I kissed her goodbye and the three of us headed out.

I'm nervous that fans are going to see us and she's going to find out that I'm picking out an engagement ring so, if anyone asks we are going to say Liam was getting Sophia's ring re-sized since they got married a couple weeks ago.

We got to the shop and were immediately surrounded by paparazzi and fans. They were all screaming asking why we were going into the store and Liam shouted out the lie about Sophia's ring. 

~Eleanor's POV~

Niall, Louis, and Liam went out to who knows where today, while Zayn went to visit Perrie, so it was just Harry and I today. Harry and I have always been really good friends so I know today won't be boring.

"Hey El, whatcha doing today?" he asked me.

"Nothing. Louis left so, yep." I said answering his question. "What about you?" I asked him.

"I'm picking Macie up from the airport soon." Harry told me.

I frowned, but not so he would notice. 

"I think I'm going to do some shopping around DC today, then." I told Harry then went to get ready.

~Louis's POV~

Today is the day! I'm proposing to her today during the concert. I want to propose when there are millions of people to see how in love we are. I have it all planned out perfectly. 

It is 10 minutes til the concert now and we all are sitting in the dressing room. Eleanor and all the other girls just left to go to their seats so now I can be a nervous wreck and freak out.

"Dude! Calm down." Harry told me and made me seat down on the sofa.

"I'm just so excited and scared and worried and nervous." I said frantically.

The boys all looked at me like I was crazy, and they all told me to calm down. We started walking about the door to head to the stage. As we walked all sorts of things went through my mind like, what if she says no, what if the proposal goes horribly wrong! A million what if's went through my head and now I don't even know if I want to propose. Maybe we are not ready. Maybe I'm not ready.

~Eleanor's POV~

The boys just left the stage after singing What Makes You Beautiful. The crowd started cheering and screaming for the boys to come back on for the encore. It always gets super crazy in the stadium at this time. 

The boys sang 4 more songs that we all rocked out to and they sang amazingly! After they sang You and I Liam started to talk. 

"I want to say a massive thank you to our crew, 5sos, and especially  all of the fans here tonight! We love every single one of you and appreciate what you do for us everyday. Thank you! Now before we go we have one more surprise song! First, I would like it if Eleanor could come up onto the stage?" Liam said out into the crowd. I gave a puzzled expression. 

Then, a security guard came up to me and led me onto the stage. I just kind of awkwardly stood there until Niall came over and led me to the front side of the stage. He had me sit down on a chair and then the music started.

I saw a million twinkling lights around the stage and then Liam started the first line of one of my favorite songs, "Am I asleep am I awake or somewhere inbetween."

Louis's solo then started, "I hope I'm not a causalty, hope you won't get up and leave, might not mean that much to you, but to me it's everything." then it was just instrumental music as Louis walked over to me got down on one knee and said, "Eleanor Calder I love you and would love if you would be my wife. Will you marry me?"
