Chapter 16- The Return

~Eleanor's POV~

"Connor what do you need?" I asked him scared as he had made us talk in a dark scary alley. 

"I needed to talk to you about what happened." he said.

"Connor, nothing happened between us, just that you totally screwed me." I said trying to not be super bitchy.

"Listen I'm really sorry about that but I needed that to get my wife and I out of here." he said like it was nothing.

"Why did you guys have to leave? Are you like running from the cops?" I said jokingly.

He just looked at me. 

"Oh my god! You are!" I yelled at him.

"Yes, but the thing is we need more money and that's where you come in." Connor said.

"Why would I ever help you!" I yelled more at him.

"Because if we get caught you're coming with us." Connor said.

"What? I didn't do anything." I told him.

"You helped us get money to leave." Connor told me.

"You can't do this!" I yelled at him.

"Actually, yes I can. So do we have a deal?" Connor asked.

"Yes! Fine how much money do you need?" I asked him giving up on my freedom.

"5 million in one week." Connor said.

"What! Are you insane I don't have that kind of money or can't get that kind of money!" I told him loudly,

"You work with that boyband sell stories. That's what I did." Connor said and then left.

I walked out and walked into the building. I got into my office and locked the door. All I could do is cry for at least an hour. About an hour later I heard a knock on the door. I dried my eyes and opened the door. It was Naomi.

"Um hello?" I said with tears still in my eyes.

"Oh I'm sorry El I-um is this a bad time?" Naomi said sweetly.

"Oh, no it isn't I just, something happened so I decided to cry in my office. But what brought you here?" I said all to quickly.

"Well I was wondering, um, Louis and I are throwing a party and I wanted to invite you." Naomi said.

"Did Louis ask you to do this?" I asked her.

"No he actually doesn't know I'm here, but I think you and I could be really good friends." Naomi said and I actually felt like she meant it.

"I'll think about and thank you Naomi." I told her.

"Anytime." she said with a smile than left.
