Chaster 10- 5 Days

~Eleanor's POV~

I woke up on my couch with Connor's arms holding me. Our night was pretty great. After we finished our walk we went back to my flat. I made us cups of tea and we watched Safe Haven. I guess we both fell asleep then.

"Morning." Connor said with an adorable morning voice much like Louis's. He sat up next to me.

"Do you want some tea?" I asked him

"Sure." He said with the cutest smile.

I got up and walked into the kitchen and started boiling the water. I walked over and grabbed my phone. I checked it. 56 missed calls. I clicked the recent call button. I saw Louis's name 56 times. I looked in the living room and saw Connor watching TV. I walked into my room quietly and pressed Louis's name and put the phone up to my ear. It rang two times before he answered.

"Hello." He said tiredly.

"You sound tired, did I wake you. I'll just call back later." I said and almost hung up.

"No!" there was a brief pause. "I tried calling you last night." Louis said.

"I know , 56 times." I told Louis.

"Why didn't you answer?" He asked.

I didn't want to say it but I couldn't lie, "I was on a date." I said and waited for a response.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Louis said calmly.

"No Louis it's okay." I told him.

"Well I should go." Louis then said with a sad voice.

"Okay bye." I said. Then he just hung up.

I walked into the kitchen where Connor was standing. "Who was that?" Connor asked. "The person who kept calling lat night. Louis." I said. "Oh, what did he need, repeatedly?" Connor asked while pouring the tea. "He didn't actually say." I told him. "Okay." Connor said then handed my tea to me.

~Louis's POV~

I was still at Liam's house like everyone else. While they ate breakfast I called El and she said she was on a date. I walked from the hallway and into where everyone was eating. I grabbed a piece of bacon and ate it.

"Did El answer?" Harry asked.

"Yep but she was in the middle of something." I told them, not mentioning the date she was on.

"Oh, what was she doing." Liam asked.

"She was on a date, I think." I said trying to act chill. Everyone was silent then Macie said,"Well what are you going to do about it?" I just looked at her.

"It doesn't matter I'm not part of her life anymore." I said then walked out of Liam's flat and drove to a grocery store. As mad as I was I needed food in my flat.
~Eleanor's POV~

Around noon Connor and I arrived at the grocery store to pick up more sugar. We walked in and grabbed the sugar. We got into the shortest check out line and waited. I felt like a knew the person in front of me.

She turned around."El!"

"Jay. How are you?" I said to Louis's mom.

"I've been great. How about you?" She awkwardly asked me.

"I've been okay. There was a pause." Jay this is Connor. " I said.

"Hi I'm Jay." She said.

"Hi." Connor said with a smile.

"Next!" The cashier said.

"Well it was lovely chatting with you El. Bye." Jay said with a smile.
~Connor's POV~

"Well I guess I'll see you, maybe tomorrow?" El said as I opened the door to leave.

"How about Saturday?" I asked her.

"That's perfect. Bye." She said and then closed her door.

I got into my car and started driving when my phone started ringing.

"Hello." I said.

"So do you have the story?" The person on the other line said.

"No, but I will by Tuesday next week."

"5 days! It's going to take 5 days!" The person said.

"Yes, but don't worry we're going to be fine." I said.

"Okay, bye." The voice said.

"Bye babe." I said then hung up.
