Chapter 16

Jong's POV

Fuck! If this is a fucking dream please fucking wake me up!

I woke up without Gio beside me, i was silently prayin that she's just in the bathroom but as i opened the door no one's inside and the moment i noticed Gio's toiletries are missing i rushed to our closest and found that Gio's clothes are gone too!

I leaned on the closet fists closed when i can no longer contain it, i yelled as my fist meet the walls of the room. Keep yelling as the fucking tears run down my fucking face. I dont care how do i look now.

After a few more minutes, Ed stormed into our room

"What the fuck happened man?" He asked as he approached me

"I heard you screaming, is Gio alright?" He continued but as soon as i heard Gio's name i brokedown

I sat beside the bed knees bent with arms on top of it while my head rests on the edge of the bed

"She's gone man... She's gone!" I told Ed sobbing

He sat on the bed beside me patting my shoulder "what happened? I knew something's wrong but i didnt think its this bad." He confessed so they noticed the tension all along

Before i even start to speak the rest of my friends entered the room.

"Pota anong nangyare?"

"Okay lang kayo?"

"Gio? Anong nangyare?" Sabay sabay nilang tanong while searching for Gio in the room.

"Gio's gone." Was all i could say then i was bombarded with questions i dont know how to answer

Then i heard Khaye scolding Gio over the phone but they only talked briefly.

Khaye told us that Gio had to cover someone else's shift thats why she left but we know thats not the only reason.

Ed, Khaye and i are talking by the shore when the least person i wanna see appeared

"Vie, what are you doing here?" Ed asked hesitantly her which earned an inquisitive look from Khaye

"I noticed kanina pa wala si Mio..." She started but i cut her off "Gio, her name's Gio!"

"Sorry. Is there something wrong?" She asked pero there's something in the way she said it

"Why dont you tell us?" Ed deadpanned. If there's someone who knows what exactly happened between Elvie and I, its Ed.

"If i had known that apologizing to Jong would result to this, di ko na lang sana ginawa." She replied

"Oh but something tells me thats not it." Ed ceased to back down

"Bakit mukang sinisisi mo ako Ed? What did i do to you  for you to hate me this much?" She asked raising her voice which made Khaye creased her brows and pursed her lips.

"Do you really wanna know?" Ed challenged her

"Tell me cause as far as i can recall i have never done anything wrong to you to cause this hatred." She said confidently

"I dont know where's this confidence comin from but since you asked for it...." Ed trailed off then glanced at me as if asking for permission and i know better than to deny that for he's been there for me when no one else was

"When you fucking cheated on my best friend and chose to fuck his sister's boyfriend then tried to turned everybody against him, that's where I'm coming from for Jong's not just a best friend to me but a brother and you would never understand that! How dare you come back and ruined everything again?" Ed's fuming by now if the person in front of him isnt a woman chances are his fist had met her face by now.

That confessed earned a gasp from Khaye but nonetheless she remained silent, observing.

"Dont tell me you believed that lie, thirdy?" She turned to me

"So we're back to this? You conniving bitch." Ed accused

"Oo, eh kaya naman pala ganito na lang kalaki ang galit sa akin ni thirdy dahil sa mga pinagsasabi mo sa kanya eh." She's screaming now

"I fucking saw you with my fucking eyes." I blurted out that made her gasp

"Yeah, he fucking saw you bitch!" Ed smirked

"Fine, we did it but Enrico's your son thirdy!" And just like that she dropped the bomb that caused ruckus in my life

Khaye and Ed were frozen, mouths ajar.

I lower my head in defeat.

I may have hate this woman standing in front of us but i cant deny that child a father, i dont wanna be like my father!
