"Wake up!" Jenn yelled, jumping up and down on my bed. "We're going shopping!"
"Let me sleep," I groaned, pulling the covers over my face.
"No" she snapped, ripping the blankets off from me. I sighed and sat up, staring at her. She was smiling and jumping around the bed, so I took my pillow and swung it into her stomach. It caught her off guard and she went flying onto her back.We walked up and down the streets, going into random shops. I saved up my past 4 paychecks to go shopping, so I bought new clothes. The style is so much different here, but it's all beautiful and expensive. I bought a pink dress that had ruffles.
"Aww, you look so cute," Jenni gushed, walking into my dressing room.
"Thanks darlin." I smiled, admiring myself in the mirror. We went to the check out and then to a bakery down the street.
"Good morning Tony!" Jenn exclaimed, walking up to the counter.
"Hello Jennifer. Is this your cousin you've been talking about for weeks?"
"Weeks?" I smiled, then turned to Tony and held out my hand. "I'm Juliet, nice to meet you."
"You too. So we've got fresh bagels and a new cream cheese for you to try."
"I'd love to Ton, but we're shopping today." Jenn smiled, looking up at the breakfast board. I got a cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese, it tasted amazing.Jenn convinced me to go to Planet Fitness but it proved to me how out of shape I was. I was already sore from lifting weights and she made me run on the treadmill.
"Jennifer!" I gasped, taking out my headphone."I'm. Gonna. Die."
"You can do it, 2 more minutes!" she encouraged, pumping her fist in the air. I did, but I about collapsed onto the floor when we were done. We sat in the massage chairs for a while, almost falling asleep."Alright, we gotta go to the game." Jenni patted my leg. I groaned and stumbled to the taxi waiting for us. I took a shower when I got home and put on the clothes I had on earlier.
When we got to the gym, it was packed.
"Who are we cheering for?" I asked, looking at the groups of people.
"The Hollywood Knights." she smiled, waving over to someone. I raised an eyebrow and followed her gaze. Oh boy.
"And, who are we here for?" I asked again, my voice barely audible.
"Josh, silly."I looked up at him, doing a dance to the song playing as they were warming up. My eyes automatically watched his ass give a little shake, and something inside of me started to-
Don't think about him like that, you don't even know him.
I tried not to make it obvious that I was watching him the whole time, but it was hard. His jaw line was shaped perfectly, his smile gave me cold chills, and his body, lets face it, was fucking amazing.
"Take a picture, Juls, it will last longer." Jennifer winked.
"What? I'm just watching the game." I protested, trying to hide my smile. She gave me a look and nodded, like she didn't believe me.By the end of the game, the Hollywood Knights had won. Jenni practically ran up to Josh to give him a hug.
"Ew, you're all sweaty." She wrinkled her nose and wiped her hands on her legs.
He shrugged and looked over at me. His eyes were hazel and his smile was even brighter up close. "Hi, I'm Josh."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Juliet." I smiled, shaking the hand he was holding out.
"The pleasures all mine." His smirk gave me chills, but it just caused Jenn to roll her eyes.
"Anyway. This is my cousin." She laughed while wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "You played a good game, dude."
"Thank you." He smiled, then looked over at me. "What'd you think?""I've seen better." I replied sarcastically. He clenched his hand over heart like he was hurt.
"Ouch. I'm going to remember that." He pointed at me, then took the tip of his shirt and wiping his face.
Don't look at his stomach. Don't do it, don't do it, don't do-. Too late. I want to see what kind of treasure is at the end of that happy trail."Are you excited to have dinner with the cast one more time?" Jennifer asked, making conversation.
"I can't wait." He smiled, waving over to someone. "What are you guys up to tomorrow?"
"I have a photo shoot." Jennifer answered.
"What?" I groaned, pouting like a little baby. "Why?"
"I'm sorry." she pouted her lower lip and took my hand. "I'll make it up to you."
"Cousins, huh?" he winked. Jenn smacked him in the arm as he laughed. "I was joking.""You're so funny." I mocked in a sarcastic tone.
"You're just full of remarks today, aren't you?" I nodded, a smirk laying on my lips. "Well I should probably go change. It was nice meeting you."
"You too." I replied, stuffing my hands in my pockets as he hugged my cousin."Hopefully I'll see you soon," Josh said while smiling at me, waving before he jogged off towards the locker room. When I could finally tear my eyes away from where he disappeared, Jenni was smiling at me.
"What?" I asked as we began walking towards the doors.
"You looooooove him," She replied in a singing voice, linking her arms with mine.
"Oh please, Jennifer." I rolled my eyes. "I mean, he's cute."
"Uh huh." I could hear the sarcasm in her voice.
"Very cute." I smiled, thinking about his smile.
"I know." I shook my head and laughed as we got a cab to take us back to our apartment. All night I couldn't stop thinking about Josh. I mean, yeah he's famous, but it doesn't phase me anymore. He's gorgeous, and from what I've seen, he's also nice. I didn't get my hopes up, because last time I felt this way, I ended up getting hurt. Whose to say I'll see him ever again? Whose to say that when and if I do, we'll ever be more than friends?
I didn't know the answers to any of these questions, but I did know one thing.I had a crush on Josh Hutcherson.
