"Are you ready?" Joshua asked over the phone.
"Of course my love." I answered, adjusting my skirt and shirt. It would've only taken him 20 minutes to show up, but it took 40 because of traffic. He knocked on the door and I opened it up, biggest grin on my face.
"Wow, Juliet, you look beautiful." He smiled brightly and pulled me by the waist into a kiss. My fingers ran up his muscular arms, my fingers smoothing around his jacket collar.
"You clean up nice, huh?" I smiled, kissing him again.
"I try," he smirked at me. "Ready for some fun?"
"Always."We walked out to Josh's Jeep, where he even opened my door. "You're so nice!" I exclaimed, kissing his soft but scruffy cheek. On the drive over, we talked about his filming for a movie that was coming out soon.
"I'm excited to see your fine ass on screen."
Josh laughed and slid his hand to my thigh. "I'm excited to see your fine ass dance in that tight dress." I don't know what it was, but I loved when he talked sexually. It made my stomach knot and gave me a certain ache. His hand reached over to my leg, traveling slowly up my leg.
"Don't," I groaned, watching as he pulled up to the curb. He laughed at me and hopped out of the car.Alex's house must have been the one with about 8 cars parked in it, and it was 3 blocks down. Josh laced his fingers with mine and brought them up to his lips, kissing them. Small things like that will drive me insanely over the edge in love - I mean like with him. Luckily, I'm pretty short already, so the heels I wore left me an inch or two shorter than my boyfriend. From the 2nd block, you could hear the music get increasingly louder. Josh let himself in, bodies moving everywhere. It smelt like cigarettes, alcohol, and sweaty bodies.
"Joshua!" I recognized Jennifer's voice. "And Juliet!" She shrieked even louder. I smiled and hugged her, then her boyfriend.
"Let's find Alex," Josh whispered in my ear, giving me chill. I nodded and let him lead me, hand in hand. When we finally found him, he was half in the bag."Happy birthday!" He yelled, raising his bottle. I laughed and pulled him into a hug. I held out my phone and took a picture of the both of us.
"You too, man." Josh laughed and pulled him into that awkward handshake shit guys do. Jenn and I always makes fun of them, pulling our pants low and walking with a 'swag'. I laughed, thinking of how long we carried on with it sometimes. I snapped out of it in time to see Alex go to sit down when there wasn't even a chair behind him.
"Wow dude, are you okay?" He asked, staring up at Josh. We were all laughing, but Josh was the hardest. He held out his hand and helped the poor guy up.
"I'm fine, how are you?" Alex winked and handed up 2 cups. Justin was driving Josh's truck back, so we were planning on getting fuuucked up.He introduced me to people I didn't know, some I remember from random run ins or the past parties. One girl seemed overly excited to see him.
"This is Aleigha," he introduced. I tried not to glare at her, but I couldn't help it. She was pretty much a barbie in life form.
"Nice to meet you finally." She was smiling and I probably wouldn't have been if I wasn't already pretty drunk.
"You, too." I replied, then turned away to find Jenni. I pouted when I found her, laying my head on her shoulder.
"What's up buttercup?" I told her about Aleigha and she just laughed. "Joshua's crazy about you dude." I furrowed my eyebrows and looked up across the room to find him. In a sea of people, my eyes would always attract to him. It's been that way since the first time I laid eyes on him. When I found him, my eyes lit up, and a smirk tugged at my lips. I stood up and handed my cup to Jenn, then walked over to my boyfriend. He wasn't paying attention to me - yet, anyway - because he was having a conversation with a friend. I stared at his lean body, buff arms, and masculine jaw, which only made me want him more and more. Finally, he looked up at me smiling. Maybe he was the look in my eye, because his smile turned into a smirk.
