times forever frozen

My phone vibrated against my arm, waking me up mentally, but my eyes never opened. I just grabbed it, turned off the alarm, and then rolled over. When I opened my eyes, I saw perfection laying on a pillow. I smiled to myself, feeling lucky to have such a good relationship.

The past 3 nights, I've been spending the night with Josh, and it's been amazing. Not just the sex, even though that was more than amazing, but how connected I felt with him. I sighed and kissed the tip of his nose before moving off the bed as slowly as I could. I thought he was still sleeping, but when I reached the door, I heard him groan.
"Where are you going, miss?" He asked, lifting his head up ever so slightly.
"To work, master." He laughed lightly and patted the bedside next to him.
"No, you have to stay and cuddle with your boyfriend. That's your new job."
I laughed and sat next to him, running my fingers down his strong arm. "You're auntie might get mad at me."

"Cock block," He groaned and pulled me down to kiss him. I turned my head so he hit my cheek. "What was that?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"I have morning breath, babe." He pulled me down into a kiss anyway. I sighed and placed my hand on his chest. "I really do have to go." I kissed him again and went downstairs, outside, and to the cab I had scheduled yesterday.

Not until I was halfway home did I look at my phone and realize that today was Josh and I's six month anniversary.
"You stupid fuck!" I yelled, slamming my hand against my forehead. The cab driver looked up through the mirror and raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, not you."

we made it to six months babe!

I sent him before hopping into the shower. I got dressed in clothes that wouldn't make me sweat to death in the heat. Then I applied a thin line of eyeliner on top of my eyelid, some pink eyeshadow that brought out my blue eyes, and mascara after using my eyelash curler.

'the best 6 months ❤️' - Joshua😻

My heart raced with that little message and then I was off to work. The traffic was surprisingly not that bad. It only took me 10 minutes to get to work instead of the usual 30.

Sabrina had breakfast and coffees set up for us when we all got to work. I smiled and looked down at my desk. There was a medium french vanilla coffee with a ham, egg, and cheese on a bagel, and a huge smile on my face.
"You're the best, Sabrina," I told her, holding up my bagel that already had a bite missing out of it.
"I get that a lot," she smiled back, going back to her appointments. I got to relax and listen to my ipod a little bit, playing games and taking random pictures. Then as soon as I was about to call Josh on my break, it seems like a thousand people swarmed in.

I was running around, getting and mixing hair dye, penciling in appointments, answering the phone, sending out new orders. By the time I was able to sit again, Nancy - the nail tech - ran to my desk.
"Do you have anything against feet?"
I raised my eyebrow and barely got out the n in 'No' before she yanked me to the pedicure part of the salon.
"You know the basics of a pedicure, right?" She asked this as a sweat bead rolled down her forehead, she wiped it away with the back of her hand.
"Yeah I've been here for 2 months now," I laughed, pulling the stool in front of a girl, only a little younger than me.

I helped Nancy with at least 3 more pedicures, so that way we would be able to stop for an hour for lunch. I washed my hands after going to the bathroom, then decided to walk down the street with Sabrina to go to a restaurant for a quick bite. I'm so glad that I've been building a relationship with Josh's family without even trying that hard. She always told me I was a hard worker and a good girl to keep her Joshua in line.

I ordered a Honey BBQ chicken melt with french fries and a diet coke, then we split an ice cream. We talked about Jennifer and how things between Josh and I were going.
"It's nice that he's found someone since Claudia.  She broke his poor heart."
"What ever happened? We never talked about it." I was curious because he was absolutely perfect, how could anyone let him go?
"He proposed to her, telling her he'd move across the world for her, and she said no and left him."
