The warm sun felt good on my skin as it shined through the window. Josh's arm slung over my waist, his breathing was steady and put me to sleep like a melody. My eyes couldn't keep themselves open, so I left them drift closed. When I woke up, Josh wasn't by my side. Suddenly I realized that we were no longer in Los Angela's, instead at my old home in New York. Curiously I wondered down the hallway. I saw that Dean's bedroom door was open, automatically my stomach dropped. My feet felt heavy along with my stomach as I slowly approached the doorway. My eyes meet the dark blue ones that I swore I never would see again. The darkest circles lined under his them, it gave me chills. Not the kind of chills Josh gives, the kind that felt like needles pricking my skin.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, venom spitting out with every word.
His evil smile spread across his face as before he peeked over at the garage outside. My gaze followed his out to the pale garage, which had its doors open.
"You know, for a pretty boy, your boyfriend can handle a lot of pain." His grin could shatter windows and give the creepiest feeling to even the bravest man in the world.
"What did you do with him, you sick fuck?!"
"Tsk tsk Juliet. You should know better than to upset me."

Before he said anything else, I ran as fast as I could to the garage. When I looked behind me, Michael wasn't there. The lights were off inside of the garage, except in the corner. I braced myself walking over to the corner. That's when I saw Josh slouched against the wall, blood on his face, clothes, and spattered along the wall.
"Oh my god!" I yelled, running over to his side. I got down on my knees and took his face in my hands.
"Josh, Josh can you hear me?" I was yelling, panic laced through my words. I could tell he was breathing, that was a sign.
"Josh, please. Please wake up. We have to go!" My voice cracked as I shook his shoulder. He was coming to, eyes struggling to flutter open.

"Juliet, you should know better than to run from me, too." His voice made my breath catch in my throat.
"Leave us alone!" I yelled back, turning towards Josh. I continued to shake his shoulders until his eyes opened. "Come one, baby. We need to go."
"Go where? You can't leave." Michael was now walking towards us something shiny in his hand. My chest felt heavy and I started sobbing.

"Juliet." Josh grasped, hand raising to touch my cheek. I couldn't stop crying, knowing even if I put up a good fight, I'd lose. I felt helpless, defenseless, and scared. My hand laid on his and I kissed his palm.
"I love you, Josh." Was that last thing I said before turning around to see Mike's arm swinging back.

I woke up by screaming at the top of my lungs, sitting straight up in my bed. I could feel my hair sticking to my neck, my clothes clinging to me from sweating. My breathing was still labored as I looked at the time on my phone. I also saw Josh had text me.
'hey my beautiful girlfriend[:' - Joshua 😻

I sighed and set my phone back down. My dream had scared me so badly, I didn't even want to tell Josh. What if Michael did find me? He would definitely make a scene. What if Michael knew about him and planned to come here?

I shook my head, trying to get rid of these ridiculous thoughts. He would never find me here. Nobody knew where I was going beside my parents, my best friend, and brother. My arms and legs shook as I walked to the bathroom to take a shower. Instead, I took a warm bubble bath and relaxed. My muscles were tense, my head was pounding, and I felt sick. My iPod played soothing music and as I closed my eyes, I felt a little better. I don't know how long I was in there for, but Jennifer came to knock on the door.
"Are you scuba diving, or what?" She asked from the other side of the door.
"Bubbling." It was a simple reply, but I wasn't in the mood. Jenn opened the door and put her hand over her eyes.
"Josh just sent me a text. He's worried about you."
"I'm fine." Jennifer just sighed and turned back towards the door.
"I'm not stupid, Juliet."
