Chapter 17

Celeste

For months, we all worked together, building programs to help end the wars and the hate. Some people were more receptive to the peace but hate groups popped up on all sides, making thing more difficult than they had to be. The relationships with my mates and I kept growing. Sure we had some rough patches, but we loved each other and I had to believe that was enough. 

Today, I was feeling odd. My mind wouldn't focus and I was trying to sort through the paperwork for a school program for integration. Drake, Helen, Luke, and I and our mates, lived in a large compound in Salt Lake City, Utah so that we were central, sort of.   I was sitting in my office, pouring over the paperwork, but my mind was just messing with me. I finally got fed up with it and threw the papers on the desk, got up and went outside. It was a bright and sunny day, so naturally, I thought about my Father. 

"What troubles you. I could fee your restlessness at home?" Trevor's soft voice asked. I turned to face him and smiled warmly at my gentle mate. "I wish I knew. I can't focus on a thing today." I sighed and he wrapped his arm around me. I breathed in his sweet, minty scent and relaxed. " I could do a body scan spell, to see if it's something we could fix?" He asked gently. I nodded, "Sure." He drug me back to our home. Remmy and Ekon were building something in the backyard, so when they saw us, they came inside, shirtless and sweaty. 

Trevor and I hungrily eyed our mates and then looked at each other and grinned. Both men rolled their eyes, "You treat us like we are just your eye candy." Remmy pouted and Ekon nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we are more than just rippling muscles, you know." I laughed, "Oh, we know." I winked and Trevor laughed. "What's going on? Did you skip out on the peace talks for a quicky or something?" Remmy asked and Trevor shook his head. "I am going to do a body scan on Celeste. She says something is wrong, but can't figure it out." 

Both men were instantly worried, "Well, come on, let's go do this and find out what is going on with our mate." Ekon prodded. We headed upstairs to the bedroom and I laid on the bed. Trevor sat next to me and started chanting under his breath. Remmy and Ekon stood there watching. I felt his cool magic roam my body, following his hands. With his hands on me, I couldn't help but get turned on. I saw Remmy and Ekon's nostrils flair, they could smell my arousal. I couldn't help it, when any of them touched me, I melted. 

Trevor's eyes met mine and he grinned, "When we are finished, Little Bunny." I blushed and as his hands moved over my stomach, he froze. His green eyes widened and snapped to mine. I started to panic, "What is it, Trev?" His face nearly split in half with the grin that spread across his face. "You're pregnant, Little Bunny." I heard an "Oh Fuck" From Remmy followed by a loud thump. I looked over to see Ekon, passed out cold and Remmy standing there with his mouth wide open. I looked back at the grinning Trevor and he gathered me into his arms, "A baby, our baby. You have made me the happiest mate ever." He released me and we walked over to Remmy, who was still staring at me. 

"Are you ok, Remmy?" I asked carefully. His eyes snapped to me and he smiled, with a tiny tear that slipped from his eye. "I have been waiting for centuries for my mate to have a baby. I love you, Celeste." HE grabbed me and kissed me fiercely. When he let go of me, he grabbed Trevor and kissed him with the same fierceness. My arousal spiked again, stronger. Watching my mates together never failed to make me hungry for them. My scent seemed to wake up Ekon. I heard him growl as he jumped to his feet and grabbed me in a deep kiss. 

"My beautiful, sweet, little mate. I love you and I can't wait to see our baby." Then he laid me on the bed. He turned and kissed Remmy passionately, causing me to moan. Remmy pulled back, eyeing me with a hungry look as Ekon pulled a willing Trevor into his arms, kissing him deeply. Remmy crawled on top of me, "Now, little flower, it's time to celebrate." And celebrate we did. The four of us celebrated passionately for hours. 

When it was time for dinner, we showered and headed to the main hall. We tried to eat dinner there as a family as often as possible. When everyone had gathered, I stood. "My mates and I have a very important announcement." All eyes snapped to us. "I'm pregnant." Everyone cheered and hugged us. My family was so happy about the baby, the peace talks were going well, people were finding their mates because they were searching outside of their race. The world was starting to be the place it was meant to be. That night, after dinner, we were sitting in the large family room talking and laughing, when Helen came to me.

"You know, you are special, Celeste. Not just because you are a hybrid or because you were created special. But because your heart is special and I am proud to call you my sister." I looked her with tears in my eyes and hugged her. "I'm proud to call you sister as well, Helen." Soon, we were engulfed by our brothers. The love in that room would save the world, one heart at a time.
