Dinah is a famous model who came out openly gay a few weeks ago, and her agency dropped her. Which was a huge mistake on their half. Dinah has become even more famous and is inspiring people around the country. Her story has magazines and famous people lining up to meet her.
Although Dinah is happy with her career, she has no one to share it with. After moving to New York, she was separated from her 23 family members. She was missing so much to pursue her dream, even the birth of her baby brother Seth. But at what cost, she had no one that made her happy anymore. And that's where Lauren comes into the story.
Lauren is new to the photographer game, and she decided coming to New York could be good for her. Although Miami was a decent option, Lauren felt that she needed to start fresh. She moved in with her cousin Ally, who was in College at NYU, and Ally's girlfriend Camila, who was also in college with her cousin.
Photography didn't take off right away for Lauren, so she works at Melody Diner to make some money for now. And guess who decides to show up.....super star Dinah Jane. Everything takes off from that moment.
