Charter 16 (SLEEPOVER!)

****Lauren's POV****

"Don't leave Dinah, I need you" I pleaded, tears streaming down my face. One minute she was worried about me, and now she couldn't even look me in the eyes. "please. Look at me Dinah" I said, gently turning her to face me. She had tears running down her face too, but she wasn't breaking like I was. She was staying strong, and that was another reason I admired her. She was so brave and strong, through even the worst situations.

She moved forward and wrapped her arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around her neck. She started crying into my shoulder, "I thought I lost you for good". Seeing her cry over me hurt, I had no idea I meant this much to her. If I didn't push her away I would've felt loved. This whole situation could have been avoided if I had let her into my life. "This is all my fault, I'm sorry Dinah". "Don't be, you're here in my arms now. I know that you're safe" she said, kissing my temple. "Don't ever let me go" I said. "I don't plan on it" she replied, and she chuckled a little bit.

When we finally stopped crying, we pulled back from the hug and stared at each other. "I don't even know what to say" I said, looking down at my feet. Dinah put her hand under my chin and gently made me look up, "Then don't say anything. Let your actions do the talking". Her words made me think, and then I just decided to go for it. I put my hands on the side of Dinah's face, and then put my lips to hers.

I poured everything I had into that kiss. I wanted Dinah to know how sorry I was, how much I missed her, how much i need her, and how much I love her. When we pulled apart we were out of air. I rested my forehead against hers, staring deeply into her brown eyes. "That was a lot better than words" she said, still trying to regain her breath. I giggled at her cuteness, rubbing our noses together. "I missed doing that with you" she said, and it made me smile.

It felt so good to smile and laugh again. It felt great to be happy again, and it reminded why I was with Dinah. It's because she made me happy. She made me feel wanted. She put some meaning into my life. She made all my problems some how disappear. she was the missing piece I needed to make my life whole. "Will you stay with me tonight?" "I'd stay with you forever, Lolo". Our moment was interrupted by Camila enter the room. "Come out to the living room guys, we got some people here to see you".

I looked towards Dinah and she looked at me, "Who is it?" Camila groaned and grabbed our hands, "Just follow me". She dragged us out into the living room, where we were greeted by many familiar faces. I saw Arin and Mani, and also some of the bodyguards I had met and befriended. All six of them, including Arin, were here right now. They all ran over and pulled me into a group hug. "Hey guys" I said, being crushed by the large men. "We love you Lauren" they said in perfect harmony. I giggled, "I love you guys too".

When they let go, Ally got everyone's attention. "Alright y'all, it's getting late. Where is everyone staying tonight? And if you're all staying, I'm ordering pizza". When she finished talking, everyone looked at me, then at Dinah, and then to Arin, who turned and looked at Normani. "You want me to decide?" she asked, "I don't know guys". All the guards went over to her and begged like kids, "Please Mani, please". "Fine, is that okay with you Ally?" Ally nodded in agreement and they cheered.

Dinah came over to me and grabbed my hand. "I hope you know you're gonna have grown men camped out on your living room floor, right?" she said. I giggled and turned to her, "I kinda figured". She leaned forward and pecked my lips. "Man, I've missed doing that". I wrapped my arms loosely around her neck, "You won't have to miss it any longer" I said, and then put my lips to hers again. We probably would have stood there and kissed all night, but then we heard people groaning. "Enough of the lip-locking, the food's here" we heard Arin say.

Me and Dinah separated, laughing like we used to. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the kitchen, where everyone was grabbing pizza and paper plates. For once, this house looked alive and at peace. Me and Dinah got some food and then we went and settled on one of the couches in the living room. The guards were scattered on the floor, and Arin and Camila were holding Normani and Ally on the larger couch. We just sat around,watched Tv, and laughed together. Me and Dinah shared a couple kisses now and then, just enjoying each other's company. I'm so glad she's back, I missed her so much.

*****Dinah's POV*****

It was about 12:30 when everyone started getting tired, so Ally and Camila started giving out blankets to the guards, who would be scattered around the living room. Camila took Mani and Arin to the guest room. And me and Lauren went to her room, where we were currently laying together. We were just talking, enjoying each other's company.

"'Dinah" she said, getting my attention. "When did you get so ripped?" she asked, giggling cutely as she ran her hand up my arm. "I went through some therapy when we weren't together. Anger management and Physical therapy" I said, while she continued to stroke my arm. "Are you gonna keep going to physical?" She asked. "I'm gonna keep going" I said. "why Dinah, you're already so ripped". "So I can stay ripped for you".

She looked up at me, "Do you....wanna maybe, I don't know". I chuckled at her cuteness, "Jus tel me Lo". "Do you wanna maybe....get back together?" I just leaned my head down and pressed my lips to here, "We were never broken up". With that said, we just kissed again.
