Chapter 50

*****Dinah's POV*****

I was currently getting to know a few of Lauren's friends that had shown up. I was sitting here with Vero, Lucy, Alexa, and Luis. "So Dinah, where you from?" Lucy asked. "She's from Orange County" Vero answered, staring at me adoringly. "Umm, yeah. How'd you know?" she laughed and said "I've read your blogs about you'. "thanks". "No prob" she said, leaning a little closer to me.

Lucy stood up abruptly, "I'm going
to get some air". She stormed out the room so quick that there was practically skid marks and smoke as she left. "Vero Vero vero" Alexa said, shaking her head. "What?!" "That wasn't okay. Didn't you fuck up things with her before because you were being all flirty with other girls? Don't mess up" Luis said

"You guys are insane. Lucy knows I love her" Vero said confidently, but her face dropped when reality hit her. "She knows that, right?" she said, looking at us with wide eyes. "You should go check on her" we said, and she ran out fast. "LUCY! I LOVE YOU BABY!" she yelled while running. We laughed as she ran out.

"So Dinah, why'd you choose Lauren?" I tried to think for a second, but I couldn't come up with just one reason. "We were a good match for each other. When I was broken, she was there. When she was broken, I made it my priority to pick her up. I love that girl. She makes me a better person each day I spend with her. She's the love of my life and I don't think I could ever let her go" I said honestly.

"That is so sweet" Luis awed, and I swore he was about to cry. "I've never heard anything so sweet in my life". Alexa laughed, "You must excuse him. He's a bit more of a sensitive guy". She leaned to my ear and said "Grew up in a house with 5 other women". We laughed together as he pouted, "Whatever, I just think what she said is beautiful" he said while pouting like a baby.

"Dinah! I need your help" I heard Lauren call from the garage. "Coming baby!" I turned to Alexa and Luis, who were snickering to themselves. "What?" I said, and they bust out laughing. "WHIPPED!" they laughed in my face, and I knew it was my turn to pout like a baby. "I'm not, I just like to keep my girl happy" I said. "DINAH!" "I'm coming baby!" I jumped up from the couch and walked to the garage, hearing them laugh the whole way there.

"What's good, baby girl?" I said, leaning against the door frame of the garage. "Can you help me get this box from the attic. I can't quite reach it" she said. I climbed the ladder and grabbed the box, almost falling from how heavy it was. "Jesus Lo, what the hell is in this?" "All my bondage gear" she said, and I almost fell off the ladder again.

When I got back onto the floor, I saw her smirking at me. "You don't really have a bunch of 50 Shades of Grey shit in here, right?" I asked while nervously rubbing the back of my neck. She chuckled evilly as she walked up to me, a smirk plastered on her face and a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Wouldn't you like to find out" she whispered, lightly grazing her tongue over my earlobe.

"Jeez Lauren, this is not the time nor the place" I groaned. "C'mon baby girl, Sólo un rapidito(Just a quickie), remember?" she giggled seductively in my ear."Lauren, we can't babe. Your mom-". "
Doesn't have to know" she said, Just you and me, making rough love with my parents in the other room". Honestly, I was gonna give in, but then someone cleared their throat and got my attention.

We turned and saw Luis standing there and smirking at us, "Bout to get some I see?" We just laughed, "What do you want man?" I asked, still holding onto Lauren. "It's game time Dinah, we're all about to head to the field in a minute". Luis was referring to the football game played two days before Christmas, where the men, and now I, would split into two teams and played a little scrimmage game. No prize, but it was my chance to prove myself.

So here we are now, picking teams, Chris and Keaton being team captains. "Dinah, you're on my team" Chris said first, shocking me. I went over to him, and he smiled widely at me. We picked a total of 9 people on each team, and then the game was on. But before the first play was snapped, ally and Camila showed up yelling. "Put these on!" Ally said, and she and Camila passed out helmets.

So we put on some helmets, and then my team set on defense since we lost the coin toss. My job: stopping any available passing game. Keaton was quarterback, and he called the play and the game was on.

I followed slightly behind his receiver, blocking the ball as it was thrown. "Yeah, Dinah!" my team said, slapping me on my back as we set up for the new play. Keaton glared at me, and I just smirked back.

------time skip to the last play of the game(Sorry, I'm lazy)-------

We set up, 25 yards from a touch down. the score was 23-19, Keaton's team leading. "This it guys" Chris yelled. "SET. HIKE!!" he yelled, and I took off down the field. I did a v-cut, shaking my defender, running to the goal line. I turned and saw the ball get released from Chris's hand, and I watched it fly.

I followed it, holdings hand out and holdings breath. "This is it Dinah. Prove yourself" I said in my head. And then the ball hit my hands, and I ran it in for the game winning touch down. Everyone cheered as I spiked the ball inside the goal. My team came over and lifted me onto their shoulders. "DINAH! DINAH! DINAH!" I was so happy, but then I saw Keaton, glaring at Chris.

He took his helmet off I could literally see the anger fuming off of him. I watched it all in slow motion, and I knew I had to stop it. Keaton put his helmet, and charged at Chris from his blind spot. I jumped off the tower and ran over, my arm colliding with the helmet and I heard it snap. I yelled as I felt the pain start to go through completely.

****Lauren's POV****

I watched the whole scene, and I saw my heart break. "DINAH!" I ran down to her and she was writhing pain. "Baby, are you okay?" I asked, trying to see her arm. "It's broken Lo" she cried, holding in her tears. "No....." I turned and looked towards Keaton, "You did this!" "I was trying to hit Chris, not her. He would've taken it better".

"You bastard!" Chris yelled, walking towards Keaton. He grabbed his shirt and held it tightly. "You did this to Dinah, and you're gonna pay". Keaton was still smirking, but then Chris lifted him up off the ground. "Chris! don't do it" I said, helping Dinah off the ground.

He set him down on the ground and I walked over to him. Keaton smiled and said "I knew you'd come crawling back to me baby". I wrapped my hand around the back of his neck, smirking at him. "I think this will make you change your mind" I said seductively. I leaned in like I was gonna kiss me, and then head-butted him when his eyes were closed.

He felt to the ground, clutching his now bleeding nose. "What the hell?" he groaned. "Don't touch my brother, or my girlfriend" I said, walking Dinah and Chris back over to my family. "C'mon, we need to get to the hospital" my dad said, driving the three of us there. After today, there was no way my mom could hate Dinah.

She had saved hers son's chance of ever going to college.
