(Meliodas x Reader) My protective demon

Chapter 8

                                                                    Y/N's pov

I wake up from my half sleep and stand up quickly noticing some one is near and scratch my eyes.

Meliodas! But what's he doing here?

I jump down to greet him but he looks at me strangely

"What's wrong?" I ask worried that something had happened

"Y/N what's that?" He says focused on something behind me

I look back and in my horror I spot a.. Tail?!

I back slowly hoping it's not really there.

It's a small tail that looks just like my flames, How did I even get a tail in the first place?

I start to worry of what the others will think of me.. Like a demon?

Suddenly Meliodas moves forward and I take a step back. 

Then he runs past me and starts touching my tail

"It's so cute!" He says giggling like a child

I feel a weight lift of my shoulders and blush a bit.

"Meliodas this is serious how did I get a tail?" I ask wanting to get rid of it

"I don't know, Looks like a demon tail" He says focusing more on the tail.

I'm a bit taken back a demon? Am I becoming a demon? 

"So I got a tail because I'm a demon?" I ask now breathing a bit heavily.

"Nah" He just simply says turning to me grinning

I can't stop myself from feeling sad what's next horns?

"How can you be so un-serious?" I ask feeling slightly betrayed 

His face loses it's colors when I ask that question

I back away as I get an idea, King maybe he knows he seems to know a lot about different races..

"Y/N, I've seen that emblem before" Meliodas says 

I stare at him shaking my head 

"What?" 

He points down to a small emblem formed on the tip of the tail. It's half an angel wing with a spear going through it 

Suddenly Meliodas grabs my hand and with speed I've never felt before he runs towards the bar

"Ban" He just shouts as we get there.

I look around seeing Diane and King now coming this way as well

"Yeah cap-" Ban begins before he see's what the fuss is about 

"Y/N how did you get that?" Ban asks excitedly  

"I-I don't know get rid of it" I stutter

"Isn't that the emblem of destruction?" Diane asks now behind me 

I almost shriek as I hear them being exited about it

"It's.. A tail.. A demon tail-" I begin very afraid

"We need to get Merlin" Meliodas says suddenly

His face turns to Diane

She sighs

"Yes yes.." She says as suddenly her normal sized form becomes enormous.

"Who's going?" She asks
