(Meliodas x Reader) My protective demon

Chapter 15;

Suddenly as if with magic I feel myself being pushed back, not physically but mentally. It was almost like I entered a dream. Slowly but surely I feel myself standing up. All around me was what I can only describe looks like pictures.

Pictures of strangers, there's a strange man with white hair. What looks like a red scar trailing along his face as well. It feels like he's.. Familiar somehow, but I just can't put him anywhere..

I turn around and notice some one familiar.

"Diane.." I whisper as I reach out but suddenly the picture of the familiar giant girl disappears as I'm left with a feeling of emptiness.

"Diane?" you question wondering why you said that name, something clicked in your mind. Had you forgotten?

I suddenly hear a large crash echo through my mind? I twirl around noticing almost like a screen playing out. I see myself standing in a tumbling building as I narrowly manage to jump out the building.

I start to worry that I can't control my body as I see some one familiar. Finally, but not the person I want to see.

Titus

"He did it" I can only mutter to myself as I helplessly watch the scene in front of me play out.

Suddenly, I feel myself floating and realize I must've jumped. To my utmost surprise I am almost flying like. For a moment I close my eyes and enjoy before suddenly I'm knocked down like suddenly gravity is working again.

I open my eyes and realize I am myself again, I sigh in relief only to notice that I'm holding a large sword. My eyes snap up towards Titus as he smiles towards me.

"Look" he says as my  head instantly snaps around towards a holy knight that looks heavily wounded and is almost on his knees in front of me.

"Kill him" Titus says and I instantly feel myself negating that thought, no way-

Before I can even say something I raise my sword high and with a swift motion stab it down ending the holy knights life as I feel my mouth fall agape as my stomach drops.

"Why did you-" I begin my voice quivering.

"Silence" he only says as my mouth snaps shut my teeth aching with the impact.

"Now, we have an important quest to finish Nova." he says his voice seeping of what I can only describe as pure madness.

"Where are the seven deadly sins" Titus asks my mind filling with blankness. Who is the seven deadly sins?

"They reside in The boar hat. They run the tavern, right know they are outside a small village." I hear myself say as I question how I know that but it goes unanswered.

I knew that if I was not under this weird spell- trance? I would be trembling, this was.. Scary even to me. Yet I can do nothing but follow him as he slowly walks across the strange forestry area we we're in. Seeming to know exactly where to go. As if he had a map in front of him.

He suddenly stops in front of an old tree in the middle of no where as suddenly he rips my sword out of my arm making me hold in a hiss of pain. I look down at my now bleeding palm as I try to ignore it for now.

With the sword he mutters something silently as my eyes fully widen when the sword slowly starts turning into a darker shade and he suddenly without hesitation just randomly stabs it right into the tree. 

Then he steps right forward and as if on que the entire tree is slowly starting to burn, and as it does Titus just walks right into it and then disappears right after. My mind is blank but suddenly I'm pulled forward and no matter how hard I try to resist I have no choice but to follow.

"What is this curse?" I whisper in fear as I hear a chuckle.

"You know, it was rather easy to get you wrapped around my finger. Easier than most really, that is a magic spell that only I know." Titus begins cockily as he slightly walks around me. 

I look around as I realize I was back at the Boar hat, that.. That was a portal? He had summoned a portal with my sword?

"It worked so easily on you dear Nova because you have no roots anywhere." he says as I'm left confused.

"You probably do not understand what I mean, but when you are born somewhere. It becomes your home, not because it's a big house. But the people, and memories is what makes a place your home. You have never had a true home. And therefor you have not put down roots anywhere. If that makes sense?" he more questions himself as he let's out a loud cackle making me flinch.

"And therefor you are utterly and completely defenseless. Like a little damsel in distress" he whispers in a baby tone flicking my hair as I resist the urge to snap at him.

"Eh magic doesn't make much sense. Not it doesn't, maybe it does actually? No, no I am right. It doesn't you're wrong" Titus mutters to himself making me question if he was truly insane or not.

"Let's go little Nova" Titus suddenly says as I move the hair in my face making a bit of the blood drip onto my face.

"Disappointing, disappointed, disappointing disappointed.." he says repeating the words as I gulp.

"I command you to not do anything without an order" he suddenly says as my body turns stiffer than ever. No matter how I tried I could not do anything, I felt myself starting to panic and my blood pump faster. But that changed little.

"Now come Nova, we have a job to do" Titus says smiling awfully kindly as I follow him unwillingly as we slowly but surely walk towards the Boar hat. 

Complete silence.. Nothing can be heard, silently I was begging for some one to come out. But why? It was so strange, it felt like.. My thoughts are interrupted when suddenly Titus leaps backwards and in his place a gigantic hammer now lays.

"You!" an angry voice calls as I struggle but cannot turn nor make any move without.. His commands.

"Nova, fight. Kill it" Titus says as I slowly turn around scanning the creature in front of me. A giant, no really. A giant girl. 

"Y/N.." she says muttering a name as I feel a heart pang heavily as if it had an impact on me.

"Kill it now!" Titus orders as I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

On the bright side, I did not know this giant.

So.. This book is kind of coming to an end soon, and even though it has been really fun writing this I can't wait to make the last chapters. I have a feeling you all will love em too! =)
