All I Ever Wanted..

Good & Bad News.

*the next morning*

I woke up to Blake's arms wrapped around me, it was 8:30. I didn't want to leave but I had to. I had work today. Finally, I mean I haven't had work in over a week. I kinda wanted to go back. My boss gave me off because she said that I deserved it, and yeah well.. I did.

I tried to remove Blake's arms, and when I thought I finally did, he pulled me back down.

Me: Blake, I have work and you have practice in an hour.

Blake: we can be late.

Me: no actually I can't. I've been off for the past week. I need to go, now let go.

Blake: gosh, okay you party pooper.

Me: oh shut up. I'll be back at 6. Don't have to much fun without me.

I smiled and kissed him. I left for work.

*At work*

Co worker: JESSICA! You're finally back, we missed you!

Me: thank you guys but it was only a week.

I walked into my office. My boss came in. Her names Dana.

Dana: Good morning, I have a job for you.

Me: morning, and yes?

Dana: I need you to write me a story about Stephan Curry, and how his life has been outside of basketball.

Me: will do!

I'm super excited, Stephan seems like a cool guy.

Dana: I'll fly you out to Oakland tomorrow to meet him. Then you'll fly back in the next day. If that isn't a problem!

Me: no no! I can't wait.

I smiled and she walked off. I hardly fly places, the people usually come to me but whatever! It should be fun.

I can't screw this up, Dana said that this is important, if I do this right I can become big. I need to focus on this.

I called Blake to tell him the good news.

Me: BLAKE BLAKE BLAKE

Blake: what what??!

Me: I have to fly out tomorrow to interview Stephan Curry in Oakland! My boss said that if I do this right I can go big! I can finally make a name for myself. This is super important. I'm excited but nervous at the same time! Eeeeeeek.

Blake: WHAT. I'm so happy for you babe!! I'm sad that you're flying out, but I'll be fine.

Me: thank you.. Blakey Boo.

Blake: can you not call me that!

Me: WE HAD A DEAL YOU LITTLE SHIT

Blake: oh yeah... I forgot!

Me: I'll be home at 6, got to go. Byeeee.

I hung up. Dana gave me the rest of the day off to go pack and to come up with questions to ask Stephan.

Before I went back to Blake's I decided to go get my hair and nails done, and do a little shopping.

*4 hours later*

I looked and felt great. I got a new haircut, got my nails done, and bought all kinds of new clothes. I was soon on my way to Blake's.

Blake's P.O.V

Wow.. I'm really happy for Jessica. This is something big, she'll do amazing. No doubt in my mind.

Hmmm, that's weird. I got a call from my mom. She hardly calls, she usually texts me.
