All I Ever Wanted..

Birthday.

*a couple days later*

Today was Nyla's birthday, she's officially one. It's all gone by so fast.

Right now me, Blake, and her are in the car, we're on our way to the beach for her party. Everything was already set up. I was pretty excited because I get to see Stephen and Riley, I'm trying to not show my excitement because I don't want Blake to get the wrong idea. So I just sat there and smiled. Blake put his hand on my thigh.

Blake: why are you so happy baby?

Me: no reason.

I had to lie, I smiled at him.

Blake: ahh I see, it's Stephen.

I just looked at him.

Blake: it's okay Jess, I know you miss him. But I trust you, plus he has a family just like us. There's nothing wrong with you guys being friends.

He rubbed my thigh.

Me: thank god, lol I was so worried.

Blake: don't be.

He kissed my cheek.

When we arrived at the beach almost everybody was there, me and Blake greeted everybody.

Nyla wanted to go with her grandma, Gail.

Gail: let me see my precious granddaughter.

She opened her arms and took her.

I continued to walk around and greet everybody. I saw Jada, Chris' wife.

Jada: hey girl! Long time no see!

Me: how have you been?

I hugged her.

Jada: great!

Little Chris came over to us, he gave me a hug.

Little Chris: JESSSS

me: hey buddy.

He was so cute.

Me: where's your daddy?

Little Chris: with Blake, where's Nyla?

I pointed over to where Nyla was and he ran over to her. He loved to play with her. I decided to go say hi to the guys.

Me: hey guys!

Chris: hey Jessica!

He hugged me.

*an hour later*

We had sang happy birthday to Nyla, and ate cake, and opened her presents. She was so happy. She's had a smile on her face the whole time.

A car arrived, it was Stephen and Riley.

I had completely forgotten. Riley ran over to me.

Me: hey baby girl! I missed you!

I picked her up and hugged her.

Stephen: I see you haven't changed one bit, still as beautiful as ever.

Me: you haven't changed one bit either! Still a flirt as usual!

I smiled.

Me: where's the wife?

Stephen: she's at home, she wasn't feeling to well.

Me: why is that?

Stephen: uh she's pregnant.

Me: OH MY GOD WHAT IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU
