I requested this morning to examine the four new children more closely to Mrs. Moore, and i quickly gained her permission, so i shall chronical the first child that i pulled in for an evaluation. I began with the eldest, deciding to go from oldest to youngest within the group. So with that in mind, i began with Tobias.

"What is your full name?" I asked once i had him in my office, sitting in the armchair that sat in front of my desk,

"My name is Tobias Erickson Lancaster."
"What is your age?"
"Ten years old." He said in a bored sounding voice, watching me scribble down my notes before i asked the next question. I paused for a moment, watching the odd eyed boy with curiosity in my gaze, why was he so intent on watching me?
"Alright, do you remember what happened to your family?" I asked, watching his face for any expression or gleam of emotion, but there didn't seem to be any.

"My family was murdered while my sister and I were in our rooms, asleep. We were unharmed, but when i awoke, no one was there. I got really scared, so i took my sister and i ran out of the house. After a few days, that lady found us and brought us here." He explained, keeping his eyes locked on mine through every word.

I wrote this information down, and of course asked the obvious question.
"What about those other two boys that came here with you?"
"We met them in an alleyway. I felt bad for them, so i took them in as my brothers, giving them the Lancaster name." He explained, looking down at his hands while he spoke. Curious, why did he seem so, what's the word...sentimental? Ashamed?
I continued to scribble down more information as i learned it, even highlighting the information i found out about the other children who came here with Tobias. Apparently, Nina is sedatephobic otherwise known as being terrified of silence, and Mark has bad eyesight. Sadly, Tobias refused to divulge his siblings' species, so no information learned in that department.
"Do you have any fears or mental illnesses that your family may have learned of before their demise?" I asked gently, once again watching his every move to take note of any reaction, but still none.
"No."
"No fears or no mental illnesses?"
"No to both."

"That's impossible, everyone fears something, no matter how small." I stated matter-of-factly, falling into a staring contest with the child.

"Can i go? My sister is kinda waiting for me. She doesn't like new places very much." He said darkly, narrowing his eyes darkly at me.
"Really? Does she have neophobia?" I questioned, leaning closer for a moment with my pen poised over the paper to write. Tobias rolled his eyes at me,

"No, she just dislikes humans, so she is prone to attacking random strangers." He explained, becoming more and more bitter with every word. I let out a long sigh and leaned back against the chair in which i sat, and with a wave of my hand, i dismissed the child.
I watched the boy leave, dragging his black coat across the floor as he went. Tobias is of course very curious, he seems to know more about me than i do about him. When he was in my office, he didn't act like a normal child, he did not play with anything on my desk, he did not look around my room, he simply watched me.
