Veronica Lodge's POV

"Ronnie! Wait up! Please!" Archie says, plowing through a sea of people.

I kept running towards the school auditorium. Why the auditorium? I have no clue. Cheering always got my mind off things.

"Ronnie I wasn't going to sing with her I swear! I was helping the pussycats with a new song!" Archie calls to me.

"Yeah, 'cause Valarie is the only pussycat." I respond.

"Ronnie, I don't want to lose you." Archie says, pulling me close to him.

"I already lost daddy, you think I want to lose you, Archiekins? I'm tough on the outside, but my emotions say otherwise." I whisper.

I pull Archie even closer, and whisper something into his ear. He nods and rushes to Cheryl.

"Cheryl you were right. I do love you. Veronica is a stuck up brat." Archie says.

"Oh Archiekins, I'm glad you finally understood I was never trying to hurt you. I was trying to protect you." Cheryl assures.

"Well you were right." Archie winks.

Just as they're about to "kiss" I walk down the hallway, with Reggie on one side and Jason Blossom on the other. Cheryl looked up at us and cringed. The scowl on her face, made her brother laugh. Both boys kissed my cheeks, and that's when Cheryl blew.

"What the hell Jason! That's my least favorite person, and you're kissing her. Kissing? Jason! Come on, you can't be that stupid." Cheryl yells.

"What's the matter Cher, I can't be in...love?" Jason asked.

"You. Don't. Love. Her." Cheryl tells him.

Jason kisses my cheek one last time and walks off. Reggie gives me a hug goodbye and catches up to Jason.

"You mess with the wrong person, Cheryl. Get over yourself. Oh and clean up your act, I'm the cheer captain, and you might be off the team." I say, icily. *wink wink*

"You may be icy, but I will melt your world Veronica Lodge. And I can promise you that." Cheryl fires at me.

"Oh by the way, nice dress. I had it in fourth grade." I said as I walked away, Archie following behind me.

"Archie? Archiekins where are you going?" Cheryl calls out.

"Only one person calls me "Archiekins" and that's Ronnikins." Archie winks.

I still wasn't totally ok with Archie. But, he stuck up for me. Betty and Juggie would not stop blowing up my phone.

"What happened with Archie." "What did you do to Cheryl." "Are you ok?"

And many emojis. I hate emojis, they make me look girly. Well I am, but I don't care. I got a call from the Funeral Home and they need me to plan the funeral by Sunday. That gives me four days to plan. Four days!  Oh my lord.

I have to plan a funeral for daddy. It brings back all the old memories of him. I missed him so much. I can't seem to process that he's really gone.
