Chapter 21

Veronica Lodge's POV

     "Cheryl, honey, I can explain. Daddy didn't mean to do this." Mr. Blossom said, stepping closer to Cheryl.

     "What are you going to kill me after you kill Jason?" Cheryl replies running away, takin Jason with her.

     He looks at me in disgust. He points his finger to the trunk, and nods. I don't budge. He threatens to hit me. If he lays a finger on me I will kill him. I still don't move. He growls. Like he literally freaking growled. I walked o the back of the truck, open the trunk door, and take Betty out. I simply walk Betty to the hospital, leaving Mr. Blossom in shock.

    As we arrive at the front doors, hand in hand, I turn around. I see flocks of police men and women investigating the Jeep Compass, and arrest Mr. Blossom. I turn to Betty, she's crying, but there's still I smile on her face. We walk up the stairs and to Archie and Juggie's hospital room. When they see my arm around Betty, they're surprised. Jughead still won't look at her. He's still very upset. But she still wraps her arms around him, and apologizes a million times.

     Finally, I tell them what just happened. Again, the surprised look on their faces was priceless. Jughead was still upset, but he seemed to understand what happened. Archie is still the clueless best friend she's always had. But together we're all a family. A weird dramatic family. Ok ok, let's stop being all mushy gushy. 'Cause now it gets serious.

     A doctor walks into the hospital room, his name tag read Dr. Michaels, he's holding a clipboard and pen. He seems rather friendly. That's a good sign.

"Hey Doctor." Jughead laughed.

"What's cooking, good doctor. Ahah." Archie jokes around.

"Well boys, I think your almost ready to go! We're just going to take a few more tests, to make sure everything is functioning right. And then we will send you off with these two young ladies. Sound good?" Dr. Michaels assures.

The boys smile and nod. When Dr. Michaels leaves the room, they start laughing hysterically. Betty and I give them stern looks, and they eventually stop. We talk about the whole Betty situation, for what feels like hours. We finally get the boys to forgive her. Now we have to work on getting the whole school to.

We waited until Archie and Jughead could come with us, then we went to the newspaper people. To be honest I don't know what to call them. We decided to give them the real story behind what happened, and we obviously have evidence 'cause Betty was being "kidnapped." We had to do this, even if it meant exposing

Mr. Blossom and Jason. As much as I hate Mr. Blossom, I felt bad. But I felt even worse, for potentially putting Cheryl's best friend in jail. Jason was pretty much all she had. They were connected in a way that I felt was more than just siblings, but I mean I can't predict the future. I just always had the feeling Cheryl saw Jason as more than just her brother, and maybe he feels the same. But whatever's going on between them, I know she's going I be hurt when he faces the consequences. And I might lose a "friend."

But when we arrived at the newspaper place, the Blossoms were already there.

"Tell them what you did or I will!" Cheryl screamed at her father, "Tell them what you made her do!"

I better stop this, quickly. But at least I had one Blossom on my side.
