•Chapter Two•

ANNIE'S POV
My history teacher puts me next to some person I don't talk to. Kenzie is still standing though, and there's one more seat next to me. I hope she gets put there.

T-Mr Summerall. You can sit next to Annie.

Great. Just great. Hayden was put next to me. This is going to be one heck of a year. Hayden walks over to me and puts his stuff down on the table.

H-Hayden

H-Hey beautiful.
A-Don't call me that.
H-Why?
A-Because I'm not going to fall for your dumb love spells and mind games, so you should stop wasting your time.
H-I'm just having a little fun.
A-Well I don't want to participate in your "fun".
H-Don't be such a party pooper.
A-Don't be such a player.
H-Well played LeBlanc.
A-Don't call me that.
H-It's either that or beautiful.
A-How about you just don't talk to me at all? I think that's fair.
H-Someone's feisty.
A-I'm actually not feisty. I have common sense unlike what appears to be every other girl in this school.
H-Wow.

*First period bell rings*

A-Ugh finally.
H-Why are you in such a hurry?
A-Because I want to get away from you.
H-That's kinda hard for you to do.
A-Yeah? And why is that?
H-Because I'm in your math class and your science class and your english class and all of your specials.
A-You won't give up. Will you?
H-Nope. You just wait LeBlanc. Sooner or later you'll be all over me.
A-In your dreams, Summerall.

*Lunch time*

I get my lunch then I walk over to Kenzie and Jayden. We sit down, and start talking.

K-So Annie...what's up with you and Hayden?
J-Yeah. I thought you hated him.
A-I do! He won't leave me alone. He's the most annoying person in the world!

I guess Hayden heard, and he walked up to me.

H-Is that what you really think of me?
A-Yep.
H-Wow. I feel so hurt.
A-Sorry but the truth hurts.

Then he sits down and makes himself comfortable.

A-How are you smart enough to manipulate girls, yet you can't take a single hint? Go away!
H-Well according to you, you're way smarter than me, so I guess I am kinda dumb.
A-Wow, you finally realized. Let's have a round of applause for Hayden.
H-I love your sarcasm.
A-Thanks! I try really hard.
H-Look. I don't know what I did to make you hate me, but if you ever change your mind, maybe you can be my date to that party I was telling you about.

He put a piece of paper in front on me and walked away before I could say anything back.

K-Wow he really won't leave you alone.
A-Oh my gosh you don't even know the half of it.
J-What was that party he was talking about?
A-Oh some stupid party at Carson's house on Friday night. I'm not going though.
K-You should go! It'll be fun!
A-Just for Hayden to bother me all night? I think I'll pass.
J-We can go with you! Then we can ignore Hayden, and you can just hang out with us.
A-I guess...
K&J-Yay!
