*1 week later*

ANNIE'S POV

I woke up this morning and texted Hayden.

A-Hey
H-Morning beautiful
A-Do you wanna do something today?
H-Of course! What were you thinking of doing?
A-How about we go out to lunch?
H-Sure! I'll pick you up in 30 minutes.

I actually did want to hang out with Hayden, but this is apart of my plan. I'm going to figure out what he's hiding from me, and how he got Caleb's number. It's been a week and I still haven't gotten any answers. Maybe today is the day.

*At lunch*

Hayden and I were eating lunch, and I quickly went to the bathroom. When I came back, he wasn't there. I looked around for a note or something, but there wasn't anything. I walked outside to see if he was there, and I saw something I didn't want to see. It was Hayden and Jayden kissing. So many thoughts were going through my head. I finally decided to speak after standing there for about a minute.

A-Really?! I thought maybe you had changed, Hayden. But I guess I was wrong. I should've never trusted you! We're over! As for you, Jayden, don't ever talk to me again.

By this point I was sobbing. I ran away before they could say anything back. I didn't know where I was going, but I know I'll be fine as long as I'm far away from Hayden and Jayden.

*15 minutes later*

I ended up at the beach. I sat on a rock and just started thinking. I'm such an idiot. Players are always players. They don't change. I did the one thing I didn't want to do which was fall for Hayden. It's even worse that I caught him cheating on me with my best friend. Or at least I thought she was my best friend. I trusted her, but I guess I'm learning that I can't trust anyone anymore...
