HAYDEN'S POV

K-Why would you do this to Annie?
H-You don't even know what happened!
K-Fine. Explain.

I explained the whole situation to Kenzie from this morning to when Annie ran away from me at the beach.

K-Wow...You need to fix this.
H-How?! I've tried talking to her, and she just ran away from me!
K-I'm not going to help you if all you're going to do is yell at me.
H-I'm sorry. I-I just need her, and I don't want to lose her *starts crying*
K-Wow. I've never seen you cry over a girl...or anything actually. You must really love her.
H-I do. More than anything.
K-I'll text her. When we're done talking, I'll figure out if you should see her tomorrow. Ok?
H-Thank you so much.

I give Kenzie a quick hug and leave. Hopefully Annie agrees to at least hear me out.

KENZIE'S POV

Hayden leaves, and I start to text Annie.

K-Hey Annie...how are you?
A-Horrible. I've been laying here crying. I cried myself to sleep, but I only slept for about an hour. I can't believe I was so dumb.
K-Annie, you aren't dumb. Hayden really cares about you. You should let him explain what happened.
A-I saw what happened with my own eyes. If he really cared about me, this would've never happened.
K-You didn't see all of it. Hayden came to my house and explained what actually happened.
A-Why would he go to your house if you aren't involved?
K-Because he wanted advice on what to do. He bursted into tears because he didn't want to lose you.
A-Really?
K-Yes. Just please let him explain himself.
A-Fine.

I was so happy that Annie agreed to let him explain. I immediately texted Hayden and told him to go to Annie's house. Hopefully things work out between them. Hayden really cares about Annie. He's never had such strong feelings for a girl before.
