ANNIE'S POV
I laid weak on the ground until Hayden ran up to me. He helped me to the car and brought me to his house. He took me inside and brought me to his room. I was still crying and shaking.
H-Are you okay?
A-I would be lying if I said I was. He's never been like this.
H-Well don't worry about him anymore. I'll always be here for you, and you can live here as long as you'd like.
A-Thank you...I have a very important question for you though.
H-What is it?
A-You're going to think I'm beyond crazy for saying this, but I need you to take me to my mom's house.
H-Why? She screamed at you last time and kicked you out. I can't let you go back there.
A-Please, Hayden. I need to go more than anything. My dad kicked me out, so no one can tell me that I have to leave.
H-Fine, but we're going tomorrow. You need to rest right now. You just got the crap beaten out of you.
A-Thank you!
*The next day*
I woke up extremely sore with scratches and bruises all over me, but I need to go to my mom's house today. I woke Hayden up, and we headed to her house.
*At Annie's mom's house*
H-Okay we're here. Are you sure you want to do this?
A-Positive.
