VIVIANETTA POV
"THORIN!" I shrieked as I saw him struggling with Azog. His back was on the ice, the great Pale Orc towering above him, his prosthetic arm blade supporting his weight as he fought against Thorin's sword. The look he sent me told me all I needed to know. He was stuck, there was no way out. He had but one choice.
I took of an abandoned bow, retrieving an arrow from the quiver of a fallen elf. I took aim, I could make it, I could. I'd done it before. As I released the arrow, a war-bat flew into the line of fire. The arrow plunged into its side, dropping it like a stone.
I had just enough time to watch Thorin move Orcrist, allowing Azog's blade to tear into his chest before I was tackled by Jarin. He straddled me, shouting words I couldn't hear. The only sound was the ringing in my ears. The only feeling was the that of a gaping hole in my chest. I let out a breath, but couldn't draw one in.
"No."

DWALIN POV
I had managed to finish off the goblins and few remaining orcs. As I turned to check on Doktorian, I heard the unforgettable of a blade plunging through flesh, bone. The heart stopping sound of someone's last breath.
"KILI!"
