They were amazing, those girls. Kili stood next to me, we watched anxiously as Braig bucked, kicking a Warg, knocking him away from Ali, who was on the ground, wrestling with its rider.

“We need to help her.” My brother said stepping towards her.

“No! She is expendable! Same goes for Vivianetta! This is their job, now go, quickly!” Gandalf ordered. I took Kili’s arm and drug him along behind me. I’d seen him, pulling her towards him, a breath away. I wasn’t jealous, no not at all, I was happy for him, but there was something off about her, something she and the wizard weren’t telling us. I heard a loud crunch, then we were ushered forward, I looked and saw the new girl in the jaws of a Warg. Ali leapt into the air, bringing her sword down on the wargs head; she skewered its head then broke its rider’s neck. She pulled the other girl, Vivianetta it think her name was, to her feet. She screamed at her, and then dodged an arrow.  Vivianetta screamed back, also dodging an arrow. Ali stood, she slew a Warg that leapt at her, Vivianetta took out the rider, she turned and looked at her comrade, they smiled, then it happened, an arrow hit Ali, in the head. She was knocked off her feet, her friend sunk to her knees next to her. She was screaming loud enough for me to hear.

“TURN! TURN! TURN!” Turn, what did she mean? Kili looked horrified. I shoved him forward; we couldn’t die, not yet. He reluctantly followed the rest of us. The other wizard was still on his sled, then I lost sight of him, but I head something on the rock above us, it sounded like, scratching, Wargs. I threw myself against the rock, as did everyone else. Thorin looked at my brother. Kili took out an arrow; he turned and shot the Warg. Though it wasn’t a good shot, he was shaking too badly. The Warg fell and we attacked it. With no little amount of noise it and the orc riding it were killed. We looked at each other. Gandalf ushered us on. We had all of the Wargs and Orcs on us now. We ran into a valley, and then noticed… we were surrounded. I looked behind me where Gandalf had stood, he was gone. Dwalin said something, then Thorin ordered Kili to start shooting, he did so and we waited for a few to get closer.

“This way you fools!” It looked and saw Gandalf.

“Go!” I yelled at Dwalin, he and the rest started towards Gandalf. I saw something attack a Warg… no, someone. Her hair was flying freely; the scent of sweet pea filled the air, Vivianetta. She looked at me, then a shadow was cast, some sort of large bird, then I saw it. It dove for an orc arms out stretched… arms? It slashed at the orcs head, decapitating it with one swipe. It looked back at me, then I noticed the oddest thing, it had hair, white hair.

“What the hell?” I said breathlessly.

“FILI! KILI!” My uncle yelled, killing a Warg. Kili dove into some unknown hole in the ground, I followed, Thorin after me. We looked at each other, a horn sounded, along with a yell of pain and a gut wrenching scream. An orc fell down the hole, we all took aim at it, no point, it was dead. Thorin pulled out the arrow and looked at it. “Elves.” He said, then threw the arrow aside.

“I cannot see where the pathway leads. Do we follow it or no?” Dwalin called.

“Follow it of course!” Bofur replied. We followed them down the path. We journeyed down the footpath for about twenty minutes. When we reached the end we were standing on a cliff, looking over the most beautiful place I’d ever seen.
