JAYCEEAEL POV
I was walking with a bad limp and I was sure my shoulder was pulled. Vivi and Ali were on either side of me, supporting me. When we got to the end of the trail and had stopped running they set me down. Fili was at my side in an instant. Vivi was leaning against the tree, Thorin came over to her. Kili had Ali pulled into a kiss, it was cute. Dok wrapped her arms around Dwalin’s neck and was laughing at the whole incident that had occurred.
“Are you ok?”
“Fine.” I said, taking Fili’s hand as he helped me up.
“Where’s Bilbo?” We all looked at each other. “Where is our hobbit?!” Gandalf hollered.
“Curse the Halfling, now he’s lost! I saw him with Dori!” Gloin said.
“Well don’t blame me!” Dori’s voice went up a note or two.
“Where did you last see him?” Gandalf asked.
“I thought I saw him slip away when they first cornered us.” Nori said looking at our wizard friend.
“What happened exactly? Tell me!” Gandalf took a small step toward the dwarf. Ali opened her mouth but was interrupted by Thorin.
“I’ll tell you what happened. Master Baggins saw his chance and he took it. He's thought of nothing but his soft bed and his warm hearth since first he stepped out of his door. We will not be seeing our hobbit again. He is long gone.” Ali’s face twisted into a death glare that would have frightened the mightiest of warriors. She stepped away from her spot enclosed in Kili’s arms.
“No, he isn’t.” She spun on her heel, Bilbo. She smiled and sighed, looking back at Gandalf.
“Bilbo Baggins! I’ve never been so happy to see someone in my entire life!” Gandalf said looking down at the Hobbit.
“Bilbo, we’d given you up!”
“How on earth did you get past the goblins?”
“How indeed?” Bilbo looked around and laughed a little slipping something into his pocket.
“Well what does it matter? He’s back.”
“It matters.” Thorin sad, stepping towards the hobbit. “I want to know, why did you come back.” Bilbo started in with a speech, I didn’t pay attention, it was Vivi who held my attention. She held her head high, looking towards the sky, she had always had a very good sense of hearing and smell, what could she possibly... Then I heard it, the howl.
“RUN!” Gandalf said. Dok grabbed me; she threw me over her shoulder and started down the hill. Wargs sprinted after us. “Into the trees, hurry!” Dok handed me up to Balin, who passed me up again to my own branch. Ali was in a tree alone; she wrapped her leg around the tree trunk and started firing at the Wargs with her troll rib bow and sleek white arrows. They started leaping into the trees; they were too large for the branches to support. Vivi was holding onto Thorin, Fili was next to me. I took his hand.
“Over here you overgrown bastards!” Ali howled getting their attention; she started laying them down as fast as they came. They only stopped when a white Warg approached, astride it, a pale orc, Azog. Thorin stared in disbelief, Vivi held tightly to his shoulder. Azog had once been Ali’s father’s right hand man, before he went mad and was banished from hell, coming back as an orc. He loved Ali, well, lusted her, she despised him.
“Those two are mine.” He said pointing at Thorin then Ali. She flinched as the wargs started attacking the tree she was in, trying to knock it over. She had turned she snarled in our tongue- which was somewhat close to Orcish- at him. He smiled and looked at her. She looked at the tree, then the branch she was on snapped, she fell, landing on her back, cracking her head on a sharp rock. Her eyes went from a blood red to their regular blue, and she again changed, her clothes stayed the same though, meaning she had blacked out and couldn’t concentrate on changing them back.
