BOFUR POV

I banged my fist on the door. Kili was leaning on Fili and I. Oin was next to us. The door opened.

“No. I’ve had enough of dwarves.” Bard said closing the door.

“Please, he’s sick! We have nowhere else to go.” He looked at Kili. Our companion had gone as white as a sheet, he had broken out in a ridiculously high fever, and he was sweating, and was little disoriented. Bard stepped aside holding the door open for us. There was a small cot in the corner of the house. We dumped him into the cot and looked at Oin.

“I need to get his fever down.”

“What do you need?”

“Kings Foil.” I turned to look at Bard.

JAYCEEAEL POV

“Where are they?!” I roared at Carrack.

“The last I know they…”

“Hurry! Come!” Ulric was sprinting out the front door of the castle on the base. Vivi and I were following him, the others close behind. He ordered us to the air, all but Dok. He pointed at something to the left, I looked, then my eyes lit up. Four legs, white and black, flowing mane and tail, eyes blue as ice, and an new addition, wings.

Braig.

DOKTORIAN POV

“Godspeed my friend.” Ulric winked.  I smirked and spurred Braig into the air. “He’s fast, almost too fast, hold tight.” I whipped the reigns, hitting his shoulder. He beat his wings, fast enough to make it difficult for the girls to catch up. Within several minutes we could see the mountain.

“FILI!” Jay screamed, diving.

“Make sure Thorin is ok!” Vivi hollered to me. I nodded and watched the two girls dive towards the small town of Laketown.

FILI POV

I was fighting off an orc. They had attacked us randomly; Sigrid and Tilda had taken refuge under the table. There was a loud crash and I saw a small tan skinned blonde haired winged girl. She stood on the table, everyone had froze. She turned to me, my heart almost stopped. Jayceeael. The orc attacked her, with one quick fluid motion she beheaded it, stepping off the table and coming towards me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her up. Our lips crashed, a wonderful warmth spread through me. I heard a loud screech, and then saw a limb flying through the door, I think it was an arm.

“I. Hate. ORCS!” Vivianetta screamed stepping through the door. She noticed the Kili was about to be attacked, she tackled the orc. They wrestled for what seemed like ever. Jay and I were each occupied with an opponent of our own. I ducked as an arrow sped past my head. Two elves were there. The red headed female who was earlier speaking with Kili, and the blonde male who had first captured us.

“Legolas?”

“Vivianetta? Funny seeing you here.”

“I was just about to… LEFT!” He turned and beheaded an orc. “… say the same to you!” She smiled and snapped the neck of the orc she’d been wrestling.

“They’re falling back!” Jay announced. The blonde elven prince sped out of the house, calling after his comrade. She stayed though, starring at Kili.

“Let ‘em, we have bigger problems.”

“Like?”

“Oh I don’t know? Kili, perhaps! He dies so do we, c’mon.” The angels started frantically looking around for anything that they could use to heal him. After a long string of understood angelic cursing they looked at each other, then at the elf in the door way. Bofur came staggering up the stairs to the house. The elf looked at him then gasped, taking something from him. We looked at each other, then at her, then back at Kili. Jay, Vivi, and I moved him to the table.

“Tauriel, is it?” The red head nodded. “Please, if you can do anything, please.” Jay breathed.

“Alissyanna is my friend to, I owe her my life, I will try my best.”

“Your best is not good enough.” Vivi snapped. “You fix him, or it all falls back on you.” I’d never expected something like that to come out of her mouth, clearly neither did Jayceeael. Tauriel nodded, and stepped towards Kili. She started speaking in her tongue, tearing the Kings Foil into smaller pieces. Oin stepped forward.

“All my life I have seen people heal others, but never have I seen elven magic, this is truly amazing.” Oin whispered next to me. I was too worried about my brother to reply. Jay was clutching my hand tight, almost in a bone breaking grip. Vivi had her eyes set clearly on Tauriel, making sure she didn’t screw up.

Almost immediately I saw my brothers color change back to normal. He gasped a little then opened his eyes. Vivi took up a cloth and soaked it with cool water. He looked up at Tauriel. She let out a breath and watched him.

“It will take a little bit, but he should be good as new.” The elf said, looking at Vivi, who was pulling up a stool so she could sit next to the table. Jay stepped forward and stood next to Tauriel, then my brother spoke.

“Ali… you cannot be her. She is far away. She… she is far, far away from me. She walks with angels in another world. It was just a dream. Do you think she could have loved me?” Vivianetta turned her head towards my, a tear streaming down her cheeks.

“More than words can say.” Jay replied, brushing a few strands of hair from his face. Tauriel looked saddened, I was still trying to get my head around the fact that that had just come from my brothers mouth, but ok.
