The whistle was given to me by Faiyaz. I remembered it precisely now. The thought of it made me nervous. I sat comfortably on the greyhound bus pushed up against the window watching the rain intently. I squinted my eyes at its ability to be gloomy and beautiful both at the same time. I felt my stomach flutter as i pondered about what i was doing. Where i was headed.

What am i doing? This is insane flo! Ya goin nuts! I shoved my back into the seat and exhaled while my head fell back onto the cushion. I sat quietly with my head meditating on what I was to do. I have no choice. Its intensely important to me that i follow my intuition. These dreams meant something and i was gonna find out just that. I opened my eyes and rustler through my bag until it was in my hands. I observed it once more as I let the memoir brush through my thoughts.

*Flashback*
I'd told my Father I was visting the mountains again. He obliged since he'd loved those mountains himself. I just knew there was more to my Dad then his talent for talk. He had an adventurous side I'd always grow curious about. One day I believe he will share that with me.

I'd felt weird that day going by myself , but I felt like my intuition was tugging me to go. It was warm that evening...not too hot..a pretty mild day for Huntsville actually. I'd walked deep into the forest for hours..taking pictures and admiring the scenery. It was like my own little meditation. I reached the top of a hill area where the river flowed ..I sat down to breathe in the air. The smell of nature was always so humbling to me.

Suddenly , I'd felt a peculiar chill. I grew nervous and stood up while staring behind me into the trees. "Aye whos there?" I called out a bit breathless. I squinted my eyes at a hidden figure just a bit beyond the trees. It stepped forward and my whole body shook. It had to be the biggest wolf I'd ever seen in my life.! She was a snow white color..with deep hazel eyes and paws the size of my head. I stepped back towards the cliff and realized there was no where to go. I watched the river flow beneath me before turning back to face the wolf.

It didn't take me long to realize it wasnt attacking me. I grew anxious and hystercial..trembling everywhere possible. What the fuck.! What the fuck! My mouth grew dry.

Abruptly, it stepped towards me. My body tensed and i took another look down towards the river. Would i make it if i jumped? Ugh no dumbest question ever. My intuition rudely stated.

I saw her take another step..slowly. Oddly , her teeth were not grit and her face was very calm. She just wouldn't take her eyes off of me. My body still shook beyond belief, i tried calming down.

Wtf am i doing this thing is gonna kill me.

I'd tried to convince myself to do something other than just stand there..but nothing happened. I stood still chest gaping full of fear. She grew very close until she hovered over me. I watched her from my preifrial as she looked down at me.

Shes gonna eat you idiot! I heard my mind yell. Yet i didn't move...i just stood there. I felt her eyeing me...idont know why i did it..but i couldnt help but to look in her eyes.

So slowly I lifted my head up to face her. She was beautiful. Abnormally large but oh so beautiful. She stared deeply into my eyes. They seemed so familiar to me. Abruptly she lowered her head towards me. I flinched and covered my face. Nothing happpened.

I looked forward to see her head bowed down to me ...like a pup that wanted to be rubbed. Her eyes were closed though. Like she was showing respect. I took another step back and everything went blank.

I smelled smoke in the air. Sound now entered my ear drum. I felt warm but out of place. My eyes peeped opened. It was dark but there was an orange brown color within that space. My head was on something soft. I turned my head to the left and saw black long hair and a beautiful woman.

I jumped up from my position and flew up against something hard. "Shit" I whispered running my hand through my scalp.

"You need to calm down " I heard a raspy quiet voice break the silence.

My face balled up as I squinted my eyes. The fire in the middle of the room made my eyes water which made it hard for me to see. "Where am I ? Who are you and where tf am I ?!" I yelled becoming and more and more frustrated.

The room grew silent. I mustered some strength to lift myself up and ran from one side of the room to the other searching for an opening.

As I  reached one side of the room I felt hands on my shoulder. I flipped around startled and yelled "Don't fucking touch me !" I looked up to find a tall women standing over me.

" You HAVE to calm down" the voice said stern yet calm. I could tell she was trying to be patient with me. "You're going to make them nervous " she said turning her head around and then back at me. I followed her gaze and saw nothing.

"Who?" I asked a bit frustrated. "There's nothing there." I finished reassuring myself. She turned around again and look back at me. This time her eyes were no longer the deep brown color I focused in on. They were now a light grayish color and they were glowing. I felt my heart stop  as i looked into them and then behind her to see a pack of huge wolves standing behind her.

My heart raced as I fell back into the wall overwhelmed. I felt the imprint of her hands on my back as she caught my fall.

She whispered concerned " It's okay, it's okay....shhh.." she placed a long black string around my neck with a whistle attached to the end of it. "This will protect you " she stated warmly.  I felt tears wail up In my eyes. "Who are you" I asked my voice now shaking and my eyes hazy. Her fangs glistened when she smiled back at me as my eyes shut closed and I fainted off into a darkness I knew I'd never truly return from.
