When Avery found Rose, she was sitting alone in a small shack on the outskirts of Central. Avery went in and sat down next to Rose, startling her friend,
"Avery? What're you doing here?"
Rose asked with a slightly scratchy voice, evidence she'd been crying,
"Greed was worried about you when you ran off. He didn't know where you'd be but I remembered this place. You always loved how we could see the sunrise from here with no trees in the way."
Avery said gently, a soft smile gracing her features as Rose broke into a soft smile as well,
"I loved watching the sunrise. I always hoped that one day I could bring Hunter here to see it.."
"And you will. I promise. Greed is just worried. He didn't mean to anger you he just knows how much Hunter means to you is all. Please don't be angry with him. He really cares for you and is trying to think of you and look out for you I know you care for both him and Envy and I know he said things you didn't want to hear, but he cares for you greatly and wants you to come back,"
Avery leaned over and hugged Rose,
"are you ready to come home?"
Rose hugged her longtime friend tightly and nodded, laughing slightly,
"Yes.. yes I am, Avery."
Rose answered softly. Avery smiled happily as she helped her friend up, leading her out of the small shack and back into Central.

When they got back everyone was waiting in the living room for the girls to return. As soon as Rose walked through the door, Greed rushed to her and enveloped her in a warm hug,
"I'm so glad you're alright. I didn't mean to upset you I'm so sorry."
Rose hugged him back happily and smiled,
"It's alright Greed. I'm back now. I'm sorry for making you worry."
Greed sighed in relief as he released her. She smiled before turning to Envy who smiled warmly at her,
"I'm glad you're back Rose."
He said lovingly. The others exchanged knowing glances before Baekhyun spoke up,
"Hey Rose I have some questions I want to ask you!"
Rose turned to him in surprise,
"Oh um alright ask away."
Kai, Luhan, Kris, Tao and Chen also claimed to have questions for her as they all ushered her into Avery's room and shut the door. Envy glanced outside before speaking,
"I think I'm going to walk around outside for a bit. It's a beautiful night."
And with that he left the house. Avery looked over to Ed who placed a comforting hand on her shoulder,
"It's alright. We won't let anything happen to you. Promise."
He gave her a crooked grin, making her giggle before she went to sit down on the large black couch. Ed went to sit with her as Greed yawned,
"Well I'm gonna get some rest. Have fun you two."
He winked suggestively as Ed rushed to debunk his theory,
"It isn't like that! We're only friends!"
Greed laughed loudly,
"No one said you weren't!"
He yelled as he continued deeper into the house. Avery leaned back into the couch as Ed looked over at her,
"So I've been wondering, who are those guys? They're really protective of you."
Avery turned to look at him,
"They're vampires and werewolves. Baekhyun and Kai are the vampires. They're from rival clans. I'm not entirely sure what happened between them in the past but all 12 of them used to be friends. They've told me a little bit but I know there's more. Anyway the vampires saved me."
"How?"
"I was injured and I found their mansion, more by accident really, and they allowed me to stay and recover. I had been hit with a poisoned arrow, well grazed really. I heal quickly but the poison needed to work through my system so they let me stay in a spare bedroom."
"So you're in their debt?"
"Not exactly. They helped me for a different reason. I believe I look like a woman from their past."
Ed's eyebrows shot up,
"Well now I'm really interested."
Avery giggled,
"As am I, Ed. Long story short the werewolves kidnapped me then the vampires came to save me. Then while they were fighting I was pulled into Rose's dreamscape and she told me to come back to Central. I took six of the boys with me and here I am."
Ed leaned back into the couch,
"Wow. So that's why they're so protective of you."
"Yep."
"They've never hurt you right?"
"Never. They have feelings for me, but.."
"But?"
Avery looked Ed in the eyes,
"Is it me they love? Or the woman from the past?"
Ed looked down before reaching over to squeeze her hand gently,
"Well if something goes wrong you can always come back to Central. I know Rose would love it. I would too."
Avery smiled,
"I know. I promise I will. I don't really have a home and if I had to pick a place that wasn't with them it'd be here."
Ed beamed at Avery but before he could say anything Rose and the boys returned to the room,
"Hey Ed!"
Rose said happily,
"Hey."
Ed said, slight disappointment in his voice. Avery yawned softly and stood up,
"I think it's time I went to bed. It was great talking with you Ed."
The alchemist blushed at the comment as Avery turned to Rose,
"I'm glad you came home."
Rose nodded in agreement as Avery walked down the hall, her six protectors following her back into her room and finding a place on the floor to sleep as she climbed into her bed and let her eyelids slip closed.
