Getting Hunter

*time skip to that night*
"Are you ready Avery?"
Envy asked. She nodded confidently before turning to Rose and the boys,
"Next time you see me I'll have Hunter."
Rose went up and hugged her friend,
"Be careful."
"I will."
Avery smiled at Rose as she turned to Envy,
"Lets go."
He nodded as they exited the house.

"How much farther?"
Avery asked after half an hour of walking. Envy chuckled,
"Not much farther. The entrance is just over there."
He pointed to an alleyway and directed them towards a metal gate about the size of a normal door. Envy opened it and stepped inside, motioning Avery to follow. As they went through the dark corridors and sewers, Avery began to think he was just leading her around. Her thoughts were quickly disproven as they came up on a large metal door. Envy opened it and grabbed her arm gently, pulling her inside,
"I've brought the thief, Father."
He threw Avery on the ground in front of him. She looked up and met eyes with an inhumanly tall man, with long, platinum blonde hair and a long beard to match in long, white robes. When the man spoke, his deep voice filled the entire room,
"You must be Avery. Gluttony has told me of you. You wish to restore Pride to his former, weaker self, correct?"
Avery stood up in an act of defiance,
"Yes. Rose has suffered without her brother long enough and I'll be damned if I don't reunite them."
The confidence in the young girl's voice caused Father to laugh loudly,
"Hahaha I do like your fire! It matters not, however. You will not be leaving this place. Envy, on the other hand, will return to your pathetic friends and tell them you intentionally got yourself captured and that in order to maintain his image in my eyes he could do nothing."
Father explained. Avery turned to Envy,
"You'd really do that?"
Envy laughed loudly,
"Of course! What difference does it make to me?"
"You'd hurt Rose like that?"
Something flickered in Envy's eyes as he answered,
"Yes."
He responded stiffly. Suddenly, the large metal doors burst open as Rose ran in, tears in her eyes,
"How could you Envy?"
She said, malice, betrayal, and venom lacing her voice as she glared at him in pain. He blinked in shock,
"Rose... w-why are you-"
"Greed and the others brought me here. They were right about everything! You lied to me!!!"
Her voice began to rise as her anger grew. Envy only stood there in shock as she released her anger on him. Meanwhile, Kai, Baekhyun, and the other four rushed to Avery's side, ready to defend her from Father. Greed went over to Envy and punched him square in the jaw. The green hairs boy reeled from the blow as Greed tackled him to the floor and they began fighting. Father sighed in irritation,
"This is getting tiresome. Gluttony! Sloth! Pride! Finish this!"
The three homunculi fell from the ceiling: a small, bald fat one that Avery recognized as Gluttony, a large, muscular one with shoulder length black hair that she recognized as Sloth, and a small boy she recognized as Hunter,
"Hunter!"
Rose yelled to the boy who only looked at her in confusion,
"Who are you? Why do you call me that?"
Avery pulled out her twin daggers as she prepared for battle against the Homunculi, leaning close to Kris,
"I'll get Hunter out of here just keep the Homunculi distracted."
He nodded, eyes glowing red as he launched a blast of fire at the Homunculi in front of him, causing them to scatter from the flames as Tao and Chen turned into wolves and launched themselves at Sloth. Chen snuck his teeth into Sloth's left shoulder while Tao bit down hard on his neck, ripping the skin out and leaving Sloth to bleed. Gluttony ran at Luhan who used his telekinesis to pick him up and hurl him across the room with tremendous force, slamming him into the far wall. Gluttony spit up blood as he fell to the floor in pain. Avery looked at Pride ran at him full tilt. He smirked, preparing to grab her ankles and hold her down. At the last second she jumped, turning in the air and pulling out a large syringe before plunging the dark blue liquid into his neck. Pride flailed around in her grip before slumping into her arms,
"Kai!"
Avery yelled. The vampire rushed to her side, gathering both her and the boy in his arms as he teleported them back to Rose's house. Avery set Pride down on the couch and hugged Kai tightly,
"Bring Rose back here. She needs to be here for this. And hurry, Father wanted her."
Kai nodded and vanished from sight. A moment later he returned with Rose in his arms. She ran to Avery and hugged her tightly,
"I'm so sorry I didn't believe you! Thank you for getting Hunter back!"
She cried tears of relief into Avery's shoulder. Avery hugged her friend back and smiled,
"The important thing is that we have him. The boys will take care of the rest I promise."
Rose nodded before turning back to Kai,
"Bring Envy back here to me. I don't care what happens to the others."
Kai nodded again before vanishing, leaving Avery and Rose alone with Pride,
"How are you going to bring my brother back?"
Rose asked Avery who was tying Pride down to the couch,
"I know a few things that can reverse it but I'm going to remove the Philosophers stone. I have a way to do it that isn't fatal. Don't worry, he'll be okay."
Rose nodded and sat down in the leather chair next to the fireplace as Avery went to work saving her brother.
