"Kai."

Avery said softly to the group. Kai quickly went over to her and enveloped her in a warm embrace before teleporting them to the rooftop balcony. Kai's eyes were watering with unshed tears of happiness as he spun her around in his arms. Avery held him tightly and smiled with him in pure joy. After a few minutes he set her down and spoke in his typical flirty manner,

"I knew you couldn't resist me forever, sweetheart."

Avery smiled,

"Well you did make a better first impression then Baekhyun did when he bit me. Although.. when Chanyeol hurt you I was so worried... I thought I was going to lose you.."

Kai cupped her face in his hands and looked at her,

"Hey, I'm right here. I know you were scared but I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere. But since we're being honest... I was afraid I was going to lose you, too. When Isabel had control over us and told us to kill you I was terrified.. I was so so so scared I would hurt you or that you wouldn't survive.. I was also scared you would want to be a wolf and live with them. I know I always seem like a big flirt, but in all honesty you're the only one who makes me feel like my heart can beat again. I'm dead, but when I'm with you I feel so alive. I'm in love with you, and I want to spend my forever with you."

Avery smiled at the vampire before her as tears slipped from her eyes. She pulled him close and kissed him passionately. Kai held her waist as he kissed her lovingly before pulling back and staring deep into her eyes,

"Are you ready?"

Avery nodded,

"Yes. I love you, Kai."

"I love you too, Avery."

He whispered to her, the full moon's glow illuminating his face as he kissed her neck before sinking his fangs into her. He held her small figure close to him as he drank from her. As Avery started to see spots, Kai pulled back and made a deep incision into his forearm. He held the bleeding cut up to her lips,

"Drink, sweetheart. When you wake up you'll be like me."

Avery nodded and drank his blood until she fell asleep. Kai teleported them back to his room and gently laid her on the bed before locking the door. He laid down next to her and gently moved a strand of hair from her delicate face, waiting patiently for her eyes to open.
