The streets are dark and quiet when I walk away from Alec's house. It is an hour later and he still didn't show up. Where was he? He didn't answer any of my calls or text messages... What if he had an accident or worse? I know Jay is at home, but choose to go to our other neighbors. I didn't want to confront him just jet, it was too soon. 

I ring the bell and wait a few seconds, there's no one coming. I try again, praying to all the gods I can think off. It didn't work, the neighbors were probably somewhere else, what meant I had to go to Jay after all. When I eventually stand for his door, I hesitate. What if he didn't want to let me in? Come on Reighley! I say to myself. Before I could even bring my hand to the doorbell, someone opened it. Loud music filled the air and I had to take a step back so two drunk girls could pass. One of them giggled dramatically and almost tripped, luckily the other hold her steady.

I quickly sneaked inside and bumped against someone. The boy didn't even notice it danced like nothing happened. The house was crowded with people and I didn't see Jay anywhere. Someone hands me a red cup and before I can give it back or say thank you, the person is gone.
How was I going to find Jay? 

I walked through the house, asking around, but most people were drunk and couldn't help me at all. I reach the kitchen and put the cup on the counter, I wasn't in the mood for alcohol today. 'Hi!' A girl with perfectly curled hair smiled at me. 'I haven't seen you before', she says, 'and you look a little bit lost to me.' She gestured to a few people, 'if you want, you could sit with us.' She takes my hand and pulls me along with her. 'Ladies', a blonde boy greets us when we sit down. He observed me, probably trying to figure out who I was. 'I just found her in the kitchen', the girl tells them cheerful, as if it was a really big deal. A handsome boy with olive toned skin reaches out his hand and shakes mine. 'I'm Caine.'

'Reighley King', I answer, glad that these people aren't as drunk as the rest of the crowd. 'Do you want a drink?' He asks. 'Oh no, thank you. I'm not here for the party, I'm just looking for Jay.' I tell him and he tries to hide a smile. 'Well, who isn't?' He points at a few girls around him. The girl across me sniggers, but immediately Caine shot her a glance and she went silent. 

'I think I'm going to get some air.' I say and turn to walk away. 'Should I come with you?' I hear the girl from the kitchen ask, but I shake my head and make my way through the house as fast as I can. What a stupid plan of me to go to Jay, as if he would even help me? He likely even didn't know if there was a spare key or where Alec was. 

'Shit sorry!' A male voice says. I look down at my now soaked t-shirt and feel the cold liquid sticking to my skin. I can tell you, it's a terrible feeling. Could this day get any worse? I wanted to cry and hide myself in a dark corner of the house where nobody could ever find me. 

For the second time this evening, I push my way through the dancing crowd and try to open every door I see in my attempt to find the bathroom. I walk upstairs and almost cheer when one of the doors open. But it wasn't the bathroom I found, but a huge bedroom. The lights were off so I guessed no one was there. 

Quickly I went inside and closed the door behind me. It was pretty dark, so I searched for the light switch, using my phone as a flashlight. Before I could find it, another door opened at the other side from the room, making me stiffen. Right in front of me stood a furious looking Jay.
Oh and did I mention that he was naked?
