So I did it. I stepped outside even though my heart was pounding like I was going to have a heart attack. It was bad. I couldn't see much from the window in the officer's room but being out on the streets makes you realise how ransacked and empty the world was now, other than the dead that is. there were loads roaming around, that I had to sneak around and try not to attract towards me. I have some supplies for now though. Some proper food as well rather than snacks out of the vending machine, it will be so nice sitting and eating food that isn't chocolate, biscuits or crisps.
