Kyle's POV
"Kyle, what the hell are you doing?" Alicia looked up at me, unsatisfied with my ultimate plan.
"Something special for both you and Dan," I smirked down at my handcuffed protégé. "Oh, and don't worry, I'll get Detective Orton to take off those handcuffs."
"Why do I feel like you're gonna make me and Dan do something embarrassing?" she raised her eyebrow.
"You'll see," I walked to the staircase of the morgue's basement. "It'll be fun," my mouth pulled into a smile.
"I doubt-"
And with a swift action, the seventeen year old went out like that. 'Chloroform is harmless, she'll be awake within the next three hours,' I smiled as my other protégé got up from the cement floor, giving me a thumbs up for a confirmation that Alicia was rendered unconscious successfully. All that was left to do was rearrange the basement furniture, and add in some special equipment. Dan would come here soon, knowing that one of his friends was in "trouble", so I wasn't worried about my plan going wrong.
I had planned a little something extra for the two birthday twins, with permission from Detective Orton of course, and he was willing to have some fun too. We wanted to do something that had thrill, horror and fun all wrapped into one thing, and since Kimberly had a friend who could do just that, everyone participating in the birthday plan was excited too. Hopefully Dan wouldn't do anything unpredictable, otherwise this thing was gonna be an awesome success.

Dan's POV
'What the fuck...can this traffic light turn red any slower?' I impatiently stared down at my watch, mentally panicking what Kyle wanted to do with Alicia and I. What terrified me was the fact that it was Kyle who had planned this whole thing, and let's just say that Will's birthday wasn't pleasant either. Will...I wished he could be here, at least as someone who could comfort me in this situation. That man would never betray his partner, and I knew that if he wasn't in prison serving his life sentence, Will would be standing right here, beside me, to help rescue Alicia.
The barrier of anxiety lowered when the crosswalk sign glowed up with the image of a walking person. Finally, I could get some progress in my "mission", and maybe I had a chance of defeating Kyle and his bizarre plan, or whatever fucked up idea he had going on today. 'How the hell did he get Detective Orton to help him? I thought he was on my side!' I pondered about my superior's alliance with the cat crazed coroner while running down the sidewalks of the busy street. It better not be what I imagined; hopefully not a scenario where Alicia and I had to break out of room using rope or something.
Tiredness spread in my feet, and then began to sprawl all over my legs and chest, the panting came along last, I couldn't help but slow down and stop at a corner. Who knew saving your friend could be this exhausting, let alone having to sprint to the hostage's destination? My lunged longed for fresh air, my arm raised up to wipe the sweat off my forehead, it was so warm today in London, yet I still wore a hoodie. I could literally see heat waved rising in the distance, and the effects of being lightheaded finally punched me in the face. 'Must keep going...' I felt my eyelids collapse as a cloth of chloroform was put over my nose and mouth; darkness splashed down, drowning the sunlight and skyscraper views.
'Where am I' I stared all around, attempting to determine my location in the darkness. The room was pitch black, with smoke coming up off the floor, I had a sense of a horror themed film while standing, being swallowed by the gas substance.
