So I just realized this now...but I messed up Alicia's and Morgan's ages 😂 in book 1 they were 17 and I did the math wrong and thought they were still 17, but nope, I actually intended for them to be 18 years old 😂 so I guess you can carry on 😂💖
Alicia's POV
"You okay?" Dan looked down upon my body.
"Yeah..." I glared away to the concrete of the runway, sniffing slightly from the experience.
"Hey. What you did was necessary. She could've killed or injured one of us for all we know," he kneeled down, briefly staring at the plane that sat as a giant beside us. "Hannah would've been harder to handle had she not been sedated by the dart."
"But what if she wakes up?" I worriedly look into his eyes. "Who's going to be there to restrain her?"
"I dunno," he sighed. "But with the help of the Orlando Police Department, I believe we can successful put her into custody and order a trial. I'm sure that we can get a death penalty even though she hasn't done anything here."
"Don't have your hopes too high," Crystal's chilly voice caused Dan to whip around with shock.
She's right. We need to be vigilant.
"Fuck, you're right."
"Come on," Riki called for us. "I managed to call some deputies to transport us to the station. We can get there first before Hannah if we go now."
"Alright," Dan nodded.
"Roll out!" I cried with excitement.
"Since when do you watch Transformers?" Will joked and nagged me in the back. "With your boyfriend Mor-"
"Shut the fuck up!" I stood on my toes and cupped my hand over his mouth.
"Oh yeah! You never told me about the guy you liked!" Riki's eyes lit up with a reminder, a fucking painful one for me.
"Fuck you," I hissed at Will, giving him a dead cold stare.
We all followed Riki to an armoured police SUV, with SWAT people and everything. It made sense to be prepared like this...but was it necessary for the police force to have the right to shoot and kill Hannah with these sniper rifles if something happened? She shouldn't die at the hands of the police. I actually think it's too easy of a route to leave this planet. Someone like her needs to suffer like her victims did when she induced pain upon them. People want to see someone like Hannah suffer. Dan wants to see her suffer. My thoughts consumed me into imagination, whisking me away from reality as I watched the buildings run past us. Dan sat beside me, also intrigued in his universe of theories. I couldn't help but watch him until he blinked out of his thinking trance and awkwardly met eyes with me.
"Whatcha thinking about?" I felt my eyes light up with curiosity.
"Nothing," he said darkly before his face returned to a normal aura. "What were you thinking about?" He said with a falsely smile.
If he won't tell me, I'm not telling him.
"Oh, I was just bored and looked out at the skyscrapers," I shrugged a fake laugh, seemingly throwing Dan onto the right path.
I think he believes me.
"So," Riki poked me from the back of the SUV. "You gonna spill about that boy you fancy?"
Fuck.
"Ah, well," I sheepishly looked at the FBI agent as I attempted to find a way of out this web. "You s-see, I don't think he likes me," I nervously laughed as Riki made a face that seemed unsatisfied. Unlike Dan, this woman was fucking hard to deceive. Either Dan was still inexperienced, or Riki was just sharp like this in general.
