As we were all eating, and chatting, I kept nervously glancing at Aaron. I wanted to talk to him, but was now really the best time. If I don't do it now, I won't have the courage to do it later, not that I actually have the courage to do it now, either. Jeez, I'm a whimp. Sunggyu nudged me breaking me from my thoughts.

He whispered, "What's wrong?"

I simply shook my head and continue to eat and enjoy the conversation between my friends. Even if not all of them were my friends...The current topic was karaoke, everyone seemed to want to go out and have a little fun after our late lunch. It was getting to be early evening, so the idea was kind of appealing. After paying for our meal we decided to head down to the karaoke bar. Since we were a pretty large group of people, we got one of the big rooms, that has an actual stage and dance floor in it. It was quite nice. Before we started singing, Jiho ordered some alcohol for the group. Me and Jaehyun were pretty reluctant at first, but as the night went on I started to join on the fun, while Jaehyun remained the sober one.

Alcohol, usually wasn't my thing but in this case I thought I would let loose, especially when I knew eventually some time tonight I would have to talk to Aaron. Everyone was enjoying themselves, drinking and singing. I smiled at the scene, but then I noticed a much too drunk Aaron. Well there goes my chances of talking to him. When and why did he get so drunk?? I stood too fast and got dizzy, both Sunggyu and Aaron saw, but only Sunggyu was quick enough to react, with only a few drinks in his system. Sunggyu sat me down again.

"Are you okay?" He asked concerned.

"Yeah," I smiled, "Maybe just had a little too much to drink, is all."

"Drink some water, okay?" He handed me a water bottle.

I thanked him and began sipping at the water, when I looked back over to Aaron he was leaving the room, and he didn't look okay. No one else seemed to notice, so I reassured Sunggyu that I was fine, and told him I was going out for some air. He nodded, and let me go. When I got outside, I saw Aaron with his head in his hands leaning against the side of the building. The city lights and night air must be getting to him.

I approached slowly, "Hey, are you okay?"

Aaron slowly lifted his head in my direction and laughed, "Did you think I would be okay, knowing that you're so happy without me?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked worried.

"You and that guy, that fiance of yours. You found someone to replace me! Because you couldn't have me, you found someone else!"

I shook my head confused at his words, "What are you saying? Look you're drunk, you just need to calm down."

He looked at me hurt, "How could you? You left me..."

I stared in shock, "I left you? You hurt me, so I moved on. Isn't that what I supposed to do? Aren't I supposed to be happy with someone I love."

He looked down disheartened, "You love me though, wasn't I enough?"

"What?! Of course you were, but you hurt me! How was I supposed to be with you, when you out right rejected me?!" I started to calm down a little, "A-And I don't love you anymore... not like that. To think I actually came out here wanting to make amends and become friends again. Who was I kidding, you will never stop hurting me will you?"

My voice cracked, as I said those words. I turned to go back inside. When I did Aaron let all his tears out, and sank to the ground. As I came back inside, I decided that it was time to drink my problems away. And so I did. I let loose a lot during the night, I was mainly the one singing, and dancing, and drinking. The others were getting concerned, with my behaviour, and decided to call it a night. By the time we got in the car I passed out on Sunggyu.

I woke up the next day with a massive headache, in my old room. I slowly got up and saw Sunggyu sleeping on the floor in a sitting position next to my bed. I gently shook him awake, and he smiled, and then frowned at me.

"What happened last night? You never get that drunk."

I sighed, "It was something that Aaron said, I wanted to forget what we talked about so I drank. But I suppose in the long run, I would've remembered anyway."

Sunggyu simply took me into his arms and hugged me. I slid onto his lap and snuggled close to him. I listened to his heartbeat and that calmed me down.

"I love you, and I will always protect you (Y/N)," Sunggyu whispered to me.

I snuggled closer to him and let my eyes fall shut. This is where I belong, with Gyu....right?
